"Try and ignore them. Or try to make out what they're saying. Either way, forget about where they're coming from!" He hisses, grimacing with concentration as he walks faster, trying to pick out particular words, phrases, or sentences from the whispers all around them.
"Hina, do you hear anything?" He asks, glancing at her.

"I don't hear anything... perhaps they can not figure out my mechanical mind?"
"Mind of steel, immune tot he whispers, safe from the dangers of that which lurks in the dark!"
"Oh shut up already you crazy bastard! I thought I was done with yapping voices in my skull."

"Maybe it's only directed to work against humans?" He groans, plugging his ears to see if that helps.
Nope, that just seems to make them louder since other noises are now blotted out. The further they go the louder and more numerous the whispers become but they speak in a language Kai can't understand.
"Sweet beans on rice how do you live with all this noise?!"

"I figured as much." He grumbles, unplugging his ears, and looking at Hina. "Consider yourself lucky." He mutters, before trying to listen to the whispers again as they walk deeper into the cave.
Deeper and deeper they go, moving down shallow slopes until they eventually come out into a large open circular room. Against the far back wall they can all see a huge flat slap with words carved into it... but it is rather hard to vocus due to how loud the whispers have gotten.
"Some of a bitch! Shut up shut up shut up!" Screams Chasey in a rage.
"Doesn't work, tried that before."

He closes his eyes for a minute, grimacing at the loud whispers.
"Hina... Can you read... What's on the slab!?" He groans, holding his head.

Hina walks up to the slab and looks over it "...this language does not match anything in my data base..."
"It doesn't, it doesn't! It can't, it won't! New new new new new! Nothing of the old, something of the then, lost to the now!"

"What I think he's trying to say is.... It's a mix of- Aargh! Mix of languages! Hina, can you... Can you decode it?" He asks, cringing as the whispers assault his mind.
"I am already running scans, this will take some time though."

"Alright, both of you, get out. I'll stay here and make sure Hina makes it out. Go!" He yells, pointing to the mouth of the cave.
He raises an eyebrow, and looks around. "The fuck? Why did they stop?" He mutters, frowning slightly.
"Aw... The fuck!?" He groans, running to the door and banging on it. "Hey! Anyone out there!? Heeeelp!" He yells.
"you can't leave... not just yet." Comes a feminine voice behind you. Turning around reveals what looks like a human skeleton with glowing yellow eyes. "None of this is real... i just pulled your mind into this enclosed space so we might speak.
"Umm... What the fuck are you? Why... Why did you pull me into this place?" He asks, stopping his banging on the rock, and turning to face the skeleton, with his back to the wall.
"Because this is my shrine you are currently standing in... and the last person who showed up went mad from the protective wards... you have not, which means you are of a higher grade than him." The skeleton stands up from her/its throne. "Long ago I had a cult following on this planet like nothing you have ever seen before, hundreds, thousands of humans all secretly worshiping my name. It was glorious... but then that virus ran amock, killing most of them and making the rest abandon faith to run for the hills."
"Okay... Sooo... You need me for something or what?" He asks, raising an eyebrow; more unnerved and creeped out than outright terrified. Maybe a bit of curiosity mixed in too
"Yes, I do need something from you. I need a new foothold" the skeleton says while pacing "I loved this planet and its silly humans, they were always good for a laugh. But now it is taking all I have just to hold this connection with you. So I come with an offer my dear mutant... help establish a new following in my name, and receive boons like you never thought possible."
"Magic would be the first... and not the flashy mirrors and smoke that you know of. I mean real, primal magic. Perhaps once you have shown loyalty I will allow you to summon some lesser demons to aid you.. I can do that you know." She says and somehow you can tell that skull is smiling "I AM the queen of hell after all."

"Well boy it sure sounds like you have some work ahead of you" She says, dropping the cryptic mysterious act "You have to convince them to pledge their souls to me... usually the promises of never ending pleasure gets a good few of them."
