Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

When he looks up he sees a giant smiling human face just a few feet above him "Oh wow, you actually bothered to look up!" Says the large bearded face of the giant above.

With a quick motion the giant swings his powerful body around and lands with a thud in front of them. Honestly... he looks perfectly human save for being twelve fucking feet tall! His face is rugged and admittedly handsome with a medium length beard and dark brown hair. His body is powerfully built and stoned with muscle. His chest is hairy alogn with his arms and legs... a real bear this one!

[I think I found my ancestor. XD]

His jaw drops open, and his eyes go wide X as he stares up at the giant. "...... They... Weren't... Kidding..." He mumbles, looking up at the giant. "Uh... Since you decided to talk, I assume you don't want to eat us?" He asks hopefully, ready to bolt as he grips Hina's hand tighter.

 

[Floozer]

"Ew... why would I eat you? you are very obviously a person and not for eating!" He says with a laugh "However, i cannot let you pass unchallenged!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Uhhh... That's great. But... What's the challenge?" He asks, wincing slightly.

Crap. Should have seen this coming...

 

[Floozer]

"Fisticuffs! There is no more honorable way to meet someone than to trade empty handed blows with them!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Uhh... I don't know if you've noticed, but there's a massive difference in size between us, and a single punch from you would probably squash me into a bloody organ pancake." He says bluntly.

 

[Floozer]

He stops and looks at Kai for a minute "I... guess that is true. Ah ha! Tell me a riddle! If I can't solve it then you can pass!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Umm.... Okay..." He mumbles, thinking for a minute, before grinning.
"Okay! Here's the riddle! You see me in the water, but I never get wet. What am I?" He asks.

 

[Floozer]

The giant sits down and rubs his big bushy beard for a moment. "Ah! My reflection!"

[You looked that one up, didn't you? XD]

"Uhh... Yeah. That's correct." He says, sighing. "One more?"

 

[Floozer]

[No, I actually thought on that one I fricken swear! Don't take away this smart guy feeling damn it!]

"of course, you can't pass until you fool me!"

 

[Archangel99]

[Lmao]

"Hmmm... Okay... The more you dry, the wetter I get. What am I?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

 

[Floozer]

Again with the beard scratching before he snaps his fingers "A towel!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Bugger. Okay... Um.... Here's another one." He says, taking a breath. "It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. It lies behind stars and under hills And empty holes it fills. It comes first and follows after, Ends life, kills laughter. What am I?"

 

[Floozer]

He rubs his beard again and frowns "Uhh... is it... umm... disease?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Nope. Darkness." He says, chuckling. "Shall we pass now?" He asks.

 

[Floozer]

"We? I said YOU can pass... your little friend here is not allowed to pass."

 

[Archangel99]

"And... Why's that...?" He asks, his hand tightening around the grip of his spear.

 

[Floozer]

"Because she has not proven herself! Simple as that really! You fooled me, but she did no such thing!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Ah. Well, I'm sure a droid smarter than me can come up with a riddle easily enough." He says, chuckling as he pretends to drop his guard. His spear is slightly loose in his grip, the tip pointing slightly down, but he's ready to shove it right into the giant's eye if he has to.

 

[Floozer]

"Well then little girl, what will it be?"

Hina sighs and looks at the giant. "He who makes me speaks not of my birth. He who buys me speaks not of my purpose. He who receives me will never know I was there. What am I?"

The giant blinks a few times. "Umm... a dagger?"

"No, poison."

The giant grumbles but gets up and out of their way. "Fine... you can pass."

 

[Archangel99]

"Hmm. Nice riddle. I like that one." He says, chuckling and grinning at Hina, before nodding to the giant. "Thank you sir. We'll be on our way now." He says, walking past him.

 

[Floozer]

He doesn't stop their progress thsi time, looking rather miffed at loosing twice in a row.

"that likely wasn't very fair... database and all that."

 

[Archangel99]

"Well, life isn't fair, mister... What did you say your name was?" He asks, turning around.

 

[Floozer]

"My name is Gunder." The giant says shortly.

 

[Archangel99]

"Ah. I'm Kaizen. By any chance, did an idiot human named Max come through here recently? Looks a bit like me, but blue eyes, not very muscled?" He asks.

 

[Floozer]

"None that I have seen, but he could have come in from a different path."

 

[Archangel99]

"Ah. Right. Thanks anyway." He says, bowing his head and walking away. Only once he's a fair distance away does he let his guard down, letting out a sigh. "For a second, I thought he was gonna ask to fuck you. I would have stabbed his eye out." He says, looking at Hina.

 

[Floozer]

"He did not seem like the raping kind... and how would you have even reached his eyes?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... I would have just stabbed him... Where it hurt. The dick." He says, chuckling. "And when he bends forward with pain... Bam! Sword through the eye. It probably wouldn't kill him, but it would hurt him pretty bad." He says, laughing.
