Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

Hmm... Yeah. That's starting to become a problem. I have no idea how to recruit more followers. The only option I can think of is to send people out into the wilds to bring people in. Or... He facepalms so hard even Phorsaal could have heard it.
I was supposed to recruit two more tribes. Completely forgot about that...

 

[Floozer]

And the ball finally drops! Look, if you lay on the faith it should get your point across.

 

[Archangel99]

Hmm... Yeah, I should go find the woman's tribe first. They'll likely come along without a fuss. Plus, they're already quite sexual. Integration into our culture shouldn't be much of a problem.
He starts walking over to Hina as he awaits a reply.

 

[Floozer]

Yea sure... Just be ready for resistance anyway. People dont like change that much.

 

[Archangel99]

True... Nobody does. Unless they see something in it that benefits them.

"Hey Hina. I'm gonna head out. I'll probably be back in a week or two." He calls out as he walks past her.

 

[Floozer]

"Where are you going?" She calls after him.

 

[Archangel99]

"Recruiting! Gonna try and get Aila's tribe back with me." He says, still walking to the gate.

 

[Floozer]

"Dont want any back up?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Hmm... Nah. I'll be good. Thanks though." He murmurs, smiling.

 

[Floozer]

"Ok. Be safe! Dont do anything too stupid!"

 

[Archangel99]

He chuckles and grabs her by the waist, pulling her in close for a quick kiss, before stepping away and out into the wilds. He takes to the air, flying in the general direction of Aila's tribe.

 

[Floozer]

She rolls her eyes and waves as he takes off before heading back to work.

The flight will be a long one, though much faster than if he was stuck on the ground. Below him is the area around his new settlement, mostly sparse forests and mountain valleys but that isn't technically a bad thing. Way off to the left he can see the smoke rising from that war like tribe that Chasey and Hina found, another issue that still needs resolving.

Well... That tribe could be handled when he had the backing of Aila's tribe. Till then, they had to wait...

He keeps flying towards their tribe, wanting to get there as fast as possible.

 

[Floozer]

It takes three days of solid flying along with stops to rest his aching wings and to sleep, but Kai finally reaches the borders of Aila's forest. He has to go in by foot at this point as the forest is too dense to land in.

 

[Archangel99]

He lands and proceeds on foot, taking out a piece of fruit to munch on as he walks.

[I know that feeling]

The familiar setting of the forest soon washes over him. the rustling of leaves, the chirping of birds, the dead ferals with obvious axe wounds in their heads. Yup, same old forest it seems! The only issue is... where is her tribe? Last time he came this way he was running for dear life!

 

[Archangel99]

Well... Finding them would be sorta easy. Just follow the trail of dead ferals, and he should be there soon...

[Seems to be sorta stable now.]

 

[Floozer]

[Oh that is good]

A bit more walking and he comes to the borders of the tribe. It looks... smaller than before. The moment he steps out he hears them call out and two angry warriors with axes charge at him!

 

[Archangel99]

"Whoa whoa whoa what the fuck!" He yells, backing up quickly from them. "Hey hold on! I come in peace!" He yells.

 

[Floozer]

They both stop as he speaks and mutters quickly between them before grabbing his shoulders and dragging him into town. They obviously don't recognize him after his change. Soon he is dropped in front of Aila who sports a few new scars since they last met.

"Speak outsider... I have little patience for wide eyed new comers these days."

 

[Archangel99]

"Aila. It's me. Kai." He says, before looking around. "What the hell happened in here?" He asks, frowning. "Why are there so few left?"

 

[Floozer]

"Kai?! By the trees you changed a lot." She waves off the warriors. "Things have gone to shit since you left. That giant beast has been attacking our home... Stealing our boys and killing my fighters!"

 

[Archangel99]

"You mean... That thing we saw that day? Back when Hina and I were running around looking for my brother?" He asks, tilting his head and frowning.

 

[Floozer]

"Yes, thxat tbing. It is angry and spiteful. I have fought it many times but each time it gets away to heal up!"

 

[Archangel99]

"..... Have you tried killing it?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. "I mean... If it bleeds, you can kill it." He says, crossing his arms.

 

[Floozer]

"Oh no. I thought we could just talk it out, mutant to mutant. Like old buddies or something." She says with thick sarcasm.

 

[Archangel99]

"Okay yeah. Stupid question." He mutters, shaking his head. "Anyway, why don't you come back with me? I've got a new settlement set up. We could use more hands around the place. Plus, a member of your tribe is there. Roro, his name is." He says, raising an eyebrow.

 

[Floozer]

"Cause it will follow us there. It will never stop until we are all dead. I wont spread this to you as well."

 

[Archangel99]

He rubs his chin for a moment. "Whenever it attacks... How many warriors do you send to deal with it?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

 

[Floozer]

"Three and myself. It is not to be taken lightly."
