Some newbie stats questions.

I looked through the wiki as well as here, but failed to find an answer.

Attributes/Stats:
1. When leveling up I see the brackets for Raw, Modified and Max. While the first and last are clear, what does the Modified mean? I did a check of all my gear and personal log and cannot find anything, that would affect my attributes.
2. Is there any point in advancing an attribute when it's Modified amount already hit the Maximum?

A handful of traits can add additional stats that go above the limit, these are Modified stats. For example, Mercenaries get the Iron Will perk, which gives them 20% of their Physique as extra Willpower. Once you reach Dhaal, the implant shop will sell combat implants, many of which give you +10 to one stat at the cost of -5 to another.

The levelup display doesn't show Modified stats as being able to go above Maximum, but you'll see on your actual stat bars that they can.
