Ship travel event bug

Hi, I was travelling between two areas via ship and received a distress call. I answered and chose the board option. It told me that things might get dangerous but when I clicked 'next' it put me back on my ship as if nothing happened. Pressing undo got me an error message. I've attached relevant screenshots to this post.
Ps. This has happened several times with the same event.

You should of exited your ship as normal.. the boarding option doesnt actually let you board Kiro ship.
