@morag: I hope you're right, but let's not forget that there is a reason for all that censorship: Paypal! The easiest version for supporters to pledge to creators, and normally Paypal does not allow any nsfw/porn/adult content to get their payment system.

I have decided to pay the fee for the lowest tier myself, by editing it down from 2$ to 1.5$, so that supporters on a budget can still support...because I doubt that patreon will reverse their changes anytime soon. Looks like they will just keep quiet until the shitstorm is over. Shame.

I know that might be pure arrogance, but I don't think my games should be classified as porn. As arrogant as I am I would describe the Asylum as a Fetish Thriller/Horror Game. And that is where patreon says that is ok. Like when there are a lot of sex scenes in an R rated movie, but it is still classified as an eroticthriller, a horror movie or whatever, and not porn.

That is why I think patreon has to leave me be. And even if not...before they come to me, they have a whole lot of other creators to go through first if they really decide to go after NSFW Game Makers.

If you ask me it's quite an unfair double standard in the industry and its mostly based on the infamous "I know it when I see it" ruling. Pretty much as long as you're sophisticated and sympathetic enough in the eyes of whoever is looking. I generally consider your game top notch, but saying it's above most other games on this site is a stretch.

What I meant with "they will or should go after other nsfw creators first" is that I usually don't post any nsfw content in public posts, and even when I post on patreon-only posts the protagonists are usually dressed. I place explicit warnings when I link to nsfw content and when let everybody know what this game is about. Some other creators just don't do that. It has worked out for them since they're not banned either, I would just say that they will go for the games with the naked woman on the cover first ;). But you're right...when there is someone on the patreon police that just dislikes my content they could probably just ban me. That's the way it is.

I wouldn't worry too much about possible bans. With the last fee increase patreon showed its face. They're after the money. And as far as I can see it, you have 300+ supporters. And we all currently pay the fee. Even if you say you pay the fee for us, which I like, the .38 cents will still go to patreon in the end.

Patreon isn't stupid, just greedy. I think you're save as long as you're making money for them :).

I dont want to be a person pointing with a finger on someone, but I kno one creator with ~2k$ montly income on patreon and posting lewd (like very lewd, sex doodles and psds, and some even more bizzare stuff) and he didn't change any single thing since they started their anti nsfw campaign.

I am notorous adblock user so can't be 100% sure about that, but maybe the reason why patreon is fighting with nsfw and some politic focused patreons is the same way why Youtube is doing that - because they have issues with people buying advertisement under questionable for them stuff.

Dear creators,

From the bottom of our hearts, we’re truly sorry. Last week’s service fee announcement caused a tough week for you, your patrons, and your teams. We were trying to solve a problem for creators and, in turn, caused more problems for you and your patrons.

You’ve spoken loud and clear. We’re not going to rollout the changes to our payments system that we announced last week, and are currently assessing other options.

I have been browsing your site (pretty nice BTW) and there is one thing missing that, in my opinion, is important. You don't a have section where the visitors have the chance to contact you. Of less importance, but it would be neat if you could also link the forums threads for each game. Just a couple of ideas. I'll try to play this game at some point to leave some feedback, but I didn't want to forget about it.

How many endings were implemented in the end? I just want to know if some of the options (siding with the other guys or being sold at the auction for example) actually lead anywhere or if you're stuck in limbo if you dont pick one of the golden endings?

Yay! Considering how long it took for 3/15 endings to come out, I'm glad to see this being wrapped up :D

EDIT: Also after playing through the current endings (as far as the free version is available on itch.io) I was like "Ah, so that's how Jade got the idea"

I was actually talking about the idea to randomly ask a guy to kiss her feet which is something Melanie suggests to her.

btw I've only played the endings available in like the older versions, are all endings going to be so, lets call it 'bleak'? BDSM Tournament had a more happy ending if you catch my drift lol.

There are two endings that I would consider happy, one that is 'open' to your imagination...

All the others are rather dark. Gotta live up to the name...

Edit: Ah, yes...I mean the Dr. Horney Ending. I slowly get confused because I got too many characters in BDSM Tournament, The Asylum and Femdom City ;)
