We've been getting a lot of positive feedback regarding Erolon version 0.08, and it's great to see so many of you enjoying the latest update!

We were also informed of several glitches and bugs that were preventing some players from being able to access the brand new scenes, oh no!

Well we're happy to report that those issues should now be fixed with update 0.08b!

Erolon: Dungeon Bound v0.08b-Alpha (9/13/2019)

Special Note: The Mage Transformation scene requires that you have done the mountain dungeon intro and have recruited the Cleric! It also requires relationship level 7 (or 6 if you are not romancing Mage).

Tweaks

• Added an option to skip the intro and forest dungeon intro.
• Added a scene debug option when starting a new game that allows you to quickly access the game's scenes. The choice to enter scene debug occurs after answering "No" to skipping the intro.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue that may occur when loading saves.
• Fixed an issue that may prevent the Mage Transformation scene from being available.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the Dark Elf Cyleen's scenes from being available. Users who had this issue will have to redo her first scene. It should be accessible under "Replay Scenes" when talking to her. The skip feature (hold control or click on the skip button) will allow you to quickly skip through the scene if needed.
• Fixed a typo in a Paladin scene.
• Fixed an error that caused an image in the Mage Transformation scene not to load on android.

We received reports that some users were having issues loading their save game files with version 0.08b, and so we wanted to push out a quick fix for it with version 0.08c! Now your save game files should load without issue!

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an error that caused saves made in the town not to load correctly.
• Fixed an image of the Dark Elf Healer Cyleen where she appeared with an extra pair of ears.
• Fixed a typo in one of Cyleen's scenes.

Erolon Dungeon Bound version 0.09 is now available to the public!

We realize it has been a fair amount of time since our last public release, and it's unfortunate that it took this long. There were challenges we faced this past month including Avante becoming sick with a stomach bug in Early October and causing a delay in his artwork schedule. He's feeling much better now and is catching up on the work!

We're getting back on track to our regular monthly release schedule, and provided everything goes smoothly the rest of the month you should see another public build released before the end of November!

New character introductions always take longer for us to complete than other builds, and with the Alchemist Najet this was no exception! We hope you'll enjoy learning more about Najet the Alchemist, and maybe you'll spend some quality time with her.

New Content

• Added new character Najet, the Alchemist! After you defeat the mountain dungeon boss, you can meet her in the Forlorn Desert.
• NOTE: You can level up her relationship via giving her gifts, or by dialogue choices. Once the desert temple becomes available and she's in the party she will level up as the other characters.
• Added new conversations for Najet!
• Added several new scenes for Najet, including one lewd scene!

Note: The desert dungeon and alchemist as a battle party member will be added in a future build.

Tweaks

• The game now asks you whether you want to go to the scene debug first when starting a new game. (This will be removed upon the full release of the game)
• The desert dungeon intro now appears in the scene debug menu and can be played anytime.

Bug Fixes

• Addressed a bug where the player could go through walls. Now, the player is automatically set to collide with walls and objects at the start of every floor.
• Fixed a bug where some romances were not recognized in the Desert Dungeon intro.
• Fixed various typos.
• Fixed Alchemist's name appearing as "Alchemy"

It's a new decade, and a new Erolon build is upon us! Version 0.1 is now available for everyone!

We decided to make it public due to the longer waiting period from the last version.

The reason for these larger gaps between builds is due to the slower progression of artwork from Avante. Avante has been having to juggle commissions, personal projects, and Erolon work all at the same time!

We are hoping Avante will be able to get some more great artwork completed this month for Erolon, and we will be sure to share what is being worked on!

Our goal is to get back to our monthly releases since we like to bring you exciting updates to look forward to every month!

Anyway, this build introduces the brand new Desert Dungeon, and the Alchemist Najet is now a playable party member! Will you be able to brave this mysterious and ancient tomb?

There is also a brand new Cleric Scene! Make sure to check out the revisit for the scene as well!

New Content

• Added new Cleric scene!
• Added Desert Dungeon!
• Increased level cap to 30.

Tweaks

• It should no longer be possible to retroactively reject the Dark Elf Healer Cyleen's offer, and break off the romance by replaying her first scene.
• Party members not in the battle party also gain exp.
• The Alchemist can now be added to the battle party and use skills!
• You'll now gain the Alchemist's base weapon which will automatically be equipped if she didn't have a weapon equipped before.
• You can now buy alchemist weapons and find them in chests if Alchemist is in the party.
• You can now craft basic potions! Just visit the main menu and the crafting screen to make them! More advance potions to craft will be available in a future build (will require that you have Alchemist.)

Bug Fixes

• It's no longer possible to infinitely scroll through blank characters in the talk menu.

Erolon Dungeon Bound version 0.11-Alpha has now been publicly released!

In this update we have added a brand new Mage scene, and we may have resolved a lingering dungeon performance issue that has affected certain players!

We finally managed to replicate the slowdown issue during dungeon gameplay, and as a result we have added a new "Visual" option in the configuration menu.

You can access the configuration menu from the title screen, or from the main menu in game.

Once you are in the configuration menu, find the "Visual" option. From here, you can select how the game should render. If you have been having performance issues, try selecting "canvas" as your rendering option! (Note that you will need to exit the game and launch it again for the changes to apply)

We made a video post highlighting this important change below if you'd like to learn more!

We really want to here everyone's feedback to see if this new visual option helps with their performance. So far feedback has been positive during the development build phase!

New Content

• Added a new Mage scene! Requires relationship level 8.

Tweaks

• You can now change the renderer in the options menu. If you have problems with the performance in the game, please try changing the renderer to see if this helps! Let us know if it works!
• Name input character limit extended to 12.

Bug Fixes

• Chest loot level now correctly depends on the dungeon and the level of the team.
• Metal veins are now available in the mountain and desert dungeons.
• Fixed typos in desert temple dungeon intro, cleric scene, alchemist scene.

Version 0.12-Alpha of Erolon Dungeon Bound is now available for everyone!

For this version there is a brand new scene with Najet the Alchemist! In addition, we have now enabled the much requested gallery feature! Now you can view all of your previously unlocked scenes for all the characters!

We also made some tweaks to the battle and choice UI to allow for more convenient mouse pointer use, and you can now name party members with up to 12 characters in length!

In addition to releasing the public build of 0.12, we also wanted to tease you with our upcoming builds roadmap!

This roadmap shows you what to expect from future builds.

New Content

• Added a new Alchemist scene! Requires relationship level 6.

Tweaks

• The gallery is now enabled! The gallery allows you to quickly browse through the CG images for scenes you've previously unlocked. Try it out!
• The battle and choice UI was edited slightly for more convenient mouse use. Other menus will be edited for better mouse use in the future.

Bug Fixes

• You can now use 12 characters for naming party members if you skip the intro.

With the upcoming release of XCOM: Chimera Squad and its playable Viper character (and the canonisation of Viper strip clubs) I think capitalising on snekgirl sexing is a good way to draw a lot of new eyes to your game.

Erolon Version 0.13-Alpha is now available for everyone!

In this version we have added several brand new scenes involving the Mage when she is transformed into a dragon! We also fixed a scrolling bug on mobile versions.

We really appreciate everyone waiting for this build, and we hope you'll enjoy the awesome artwork from Avante!
