Im a little confused here. Why is it that only parasites and varmints and a few random NPC are killable? Its so random seeing as the rest get nothing despite the fact I can name a lot of creatures in the game who do even worse things than the creatures you can kill! Can you give us an option to kill more random encounters? Also before anyone asks this is not something I suggest because I have some sort of "murder boner" the creators put killing options in here first. Im just saying they should branch it out more and make it more consistent..........and it would fit in with my renegade for life play style! I will be the alien exterminator in this bitch! Samus Aran style!

Because the focus of the game is about smut, not killing.

Can you give us an option to kill more random encounters?
Can you remove the ones already present, so we don't get shitposts like this?

Well somehow I could say...devs was uncertain about the cake if you all catch my drift >.<
Should they give murder boner button or not so they done it only for very few enemies giving us only few chances to keep eaten cake <.>

Killing small, parasitic critterst shouldn't be a problem, since they're non-sentient, potentially lethal and most of the time, hostile. About NPC's, the subject changes entirely, and I'm against killing random NPC with no reason. Of course, there should be the option of taking care of a particulary danguerous foe, but only in a context that leaves the PC with almost no choice, or to make the plot a bit more serious and/or dark in some points.

Still, it should be given only as an option, not as the default choice, for those to pursue lighter paths. On my mind, those NPC who deserve or may be subject to this (optional) treatment may be Jack (not sure about him, since he's more a spoiled kid than anything) Uncle Max (two cesars are one too many!!), Amara Faell (it was boud to happen, given her lifestyle, and she deserves it because stunlock), Miriam Bragga (again, dangerous lifestyle, and even worse criminal behaviour than the former).

Those who can be killed at the moment are HandSo (I don't think that it counts, since it's machine, and a quite dangerous one), Taivra (a punishment a bit disproportionate), Shade (it may sound harsh, bout her death may be for the best if we want have the whole of the inheritance, and hey, we're not the ones who killed her, after all), Zaalt (again, unfair, and unlike Taiva, he wasn't attempting to harm us on his own), ah, and the Myrellion people, this one being simple and act of stupidity from the player against a large number of NPC's. The same can be said about Tarkus, except that we didn't bring the bomb in the first place, and the losses, tought equally unfair, were fewer (the dissapearing of the gray goo isn't exactly a loss, since they're considered a plague).

Again, let's not encourage those that have a raging murderboner at the moment... No sentient creatures should be killed as very far as things go, unless it's really like a life or death plot situation that calls for it.

I was trying to point that it only could have place with a few NPC in particular points of the plot, and that even some of the ones that were subjected to that option, didn't deserve to be killed.

Hey im just talking about little random encounters here. Like those ugly bug creatures on that ant planet that drag their prey off to a rape harem. I forgot what they were called but I thought I could kill it but apparently I cant. Seemed like an asshole all things considered.

Yeah, which is something you would expect to see in a game about smut. I wouldn't expect hardcore futa porn in Postal or GTA, but I do expect lots of wanton murder. And the latter is something I don't expect in a fucking smut game.

To answer OP's question, I think it boils down to:
  • killing non-sentient creatures like parasites and varmints (that aren't sentient and have the intelligence of Earth animals) isn't murder (although it is a douchey to do imo if you have the option of incapacitating them instead)
  • killing native sentient aliens is murder.
And even leaving aside the ethics and morality of killing a person whose equipment is far less technologically advanced than yours, murdering even 1 NPC should have consequences, for the sake of suspension of disbelief. Like their family/clan wanting revenge. Or the PC being arrested for violating sentient being rights conventions. Or creating a diplomatic incident that could turn real ugly real quick. Hell, even just killing one Zil could make life very difficult for the people who live in Esbeth on M'henga.
Murder is a big deal.

If people put half the passion into murderboners as they did writing, they'd be able to write their own murder fanfiction.

I have no remorse when it comes to killing parasites, they are a plague on the galaxy! Particularly Cunt Snakes since they have spread from planet to planet. Pretty sure that killing parasites is not frowned upon and is considered pest control. Besides there are more parasites where those came from! Don't get me wrong I like the parasites in TiTS as much as the next guy (or gal) but I still will kill them to help keep the parasite population down even if it is just a little bit.

I'd say they are sentient. If any, they might not be sapient.

And YouTube starts playing The Smiths' "Meat is Murder". I now want to visit New Texas.

Because adding the option to kill literally everything will just fuel more murderboners, which are not welcome here in the very slightest.

Imo, killing major NPCs should have never been a thing in the first place, because then we wouldn't have threads like this at all. :/

Parasites like the tail cunt and cock aren't any more sentient than ticks and lice are.

Uh, no, they're as sentient as necessary to make the porn comfortable. All sexual parasites in smut more or less have "sexual level" intelligence. Remember that most bugs and insects are so stupid they don't actually have any sense of direction beyond checking for luma. They mistake light bulbs for the sun/moon all the time and fly to their deaths in zappers.

Exactly. Ticks are drawn to what they need to survive, and they instinctively know ways of making it easier to get what they need, and nothing else. No different from any of the parasites in TiTS.

The most holiest of grounds
Let's just all think that if an NPC was bad enough then they'd either add the option to kill them, ruin them for life or turn them into your sex slave.

Excluding Riya of course... for now.

Oh sure, murderboners are bad...until Jack/Jill sends you an extranet message telling you your favorite puppyslut waifu is shit...

I'm not saying that's ever going to happen but I imagine something like that would give people serious murderboners.

Damn, I always get the meaning of those 2 words wrong ><'' Thanks! What I meant was that they're animals, not persons.

Even then it wouldn't be ok.

You're welcome. You're not the only one who mixes them up. I concur with the rest of your post, BTW.

Well that's to be expected for a game in which you have to (mostly) rely on the Harkness Test to know which NPCs are bangable lol And even then there are exceptions (the aforementioned parasites)

Honestly though I'd never kill anything or anyone even if the option was available in game so I'm kinda glad it isn't (I'm the kind who can never do bad things in games before tearfully resetting everything). And there are fates that are arguably worse than death in the game (thinking of Burt's fiancee)

@ShySquare And still sometimes we got debates if parasites we got ingame meets or not Harkness Test. Techncialy both snakes not meet but...that not stoped devs from make them appear as they passed the test. But it can be said as you pointed out exceptions as it's always and will always be arbital decision of Fen.

Yeah living is in many cases worst than simply die. But not dive deep into this stuff when talking about smut game. Thou some deviations are akin to this worst than death situations for victims of the deviants.
