Yep, I'm asking more VS related questions about the technology and equipment in TITS now!

And the first one is about the laser weapons, how exactly o they work, similar to Stat wars lasers.

Okay, well you need to re-think the question.

Blasters in Star Wars are actually bolts of ionised gas, charged by lasers, making them closer to plasma weapons.

Considering some of the influence, I would imagine that the laser weapons in TiTS have some elements of the lasgun in 40k. That is to say they emit a highly focused, high energy beam of light, which when it impacts a target produces a rapid temperature change on the target's surface, which causes vaporisation in the form of a small explosion.

Now, the actual workings of those laser weapons is up to Fen and co, but the mention of heat sinks and improvements to prevent explosions, its clear that laser weapons in the TiTS-verse tend to produce a lot of heat, needing to dissipate heat quickly to prevent damage to the weapon or to the user.

I see what you mean my dude, so in essence they are just weaponized light then. Also do you mean EU or legend Star wars?

Firstly, it was Fenoxo who wrote TiTS and the original Corruption of Champions.

Secondly, considering that all laser weapons in TiTS produce burning damage and come under the Energy damage type, they are directed-energy weapons. Which is probably as far as that goes.

The original COC? Interesting. This has been WAY helpful man, thanks for your time :D Now, what about the Cryo weapons, how cold is it?

I'll be sticking around here a while I guess, do you have any questions for me mate?

But for the lasers in TITS, does that mean that're just weaponized light energy then, as in actual light being shoot from a gun?
Codex: Item Mechanics said:
Mirrored: Highly reflective surfaces render laser-based attacks nearly useless against the wearer. For this reason, mirrored equipment is highly sought after (but difficult to maintain).
* 90% resistant to Laser
I'd say they are, indeed, weaponised beams of coherent light i.e. high-energy forms of real-life lasers.
Now, what about the Cryo weapons, how cold is it?
It varies between weapons:
  • The Cryropistol's and Cryrorifle's pellets are explicitly stated to be near 0 Kelvin (-273.16 degrees Celsius).
  • The Zhou-Ling Rifle and Ice Cappers use frozen water as projectiles, and the Frozen Spire has ice as its spearhead; assuming these work even in vacuum, then going off this phase diagram for water means they have a maximum temperature of ~210 K.
  • The FZR Fire Suppression System is effectively a chemical-based fire extinguisher, and the Blizzard Cryrothrower (a similar weapon originally used to cool down starship reactors) probably works similarly. The Glacial Auger also uses cooling chemicals. I don't know if we can assign a temperature to them, and if we could, it'd be dubious at best.
  • The Cryrolizer fires a beam of energy that dissipates heat from the target, and the LM-19 "Entropy" Kinetic Decelerator and the freezing part of the Tri-Beam Rifle probably work the same way, so there's really no way to put a temperature to them. Laser cooling is a thing (actually several things), so there's real-life precedence for this sort of thing.

I've also been thinking about what the closest to Star Wars melee weapons would be. For the lightsaber (a blade of magnetically-contained plasma), I'd say the Plasma Blade is closest, followed by the Lava Saber and/or the Thermal Scalpel (all of these are also Burn Chance weapons). Obviously, the Vibrolass is closest to vibroblades, and the Lightning Rod's description makes it sound similar to the staves used by IG-100 MagnaGuards.

THANK YOU MATE! This is just on the right track to write my bio for the Steele heir, also a little side note the light sabers in Sta wars aren't plasma based, they are based off of your connection to the force. But, the fact that there are weapons that can be even REMOTELY compared to that in TITS, is simply well.....THE TITS!

Wish you had been he firs to see my COC power questions.

Well that's just patently wrong. From Wookiepedia:

The weapon consisted of a blade of pure plasma emitted from the hilt and suspended in a force containment field. The field contained the immense heat of the plasma, protecting the wielder, and allowed the blade to keep its shape. The hilt was almost always self-fabricated by the wielder to match his or her specific needs, preferences and style. The hilt was also built similarly to his or her master's lightsaber as a mark of respect. Due to the weightlessness of plasma and the strong gyroscopic effect generated by it, lightsabers required a great deal of strength and dexterity to wield, and it was extremely difficult—and dangerous—for the untrained to attempt using. However, in the hands of an expert of the Force, the lightsaber was a weapon to be greatly respected and feared. To wield a lightsaber was to demonstrate incredible skill and confidence, as well as masterful dexterity and attunement to the Force.

No problem.

I'm actually not as familiar with CoC as I am with TiTS or science, so I wouldn't have been much help there.

Either way thanks, if you're free anytime, I'd like more of you knowledge about more of the weaponry in the Verse of TITS!

Pretty sure it was 'Light sabers are plasma' and 'Crystals are just reallly good at making it'.
Small reminder that force sensitive is no requirement to wield one or four lightsabers.

They are the Jedies prefered weapon since they are able to use it more efficently. (The same way Jedi Starfighters lack many systems that can be suplemented by force awareness, like decent armour or shields in favour of the jedies supernatural reactiontimes)

Depending on canon, crystals do react specifically with the force sensible characters to shape features of the blade, like colour. That is however questionable, since it implies that the default has to be green, see Deathstar lasers. I miss the days red swords came from artifical created crystals instead of 'Sith evil makes crystal bleed'.

PS: Started the video, that one is factually wrong in many points, and overestimates itself like a 40k fan justifing why space marines are ultimate lifeforms.

I guess that's how the cryastals work in the new cannon then, bu I'm not sure how you say this overestimates the Jedi, I mean the feats are NUMEROUS for them, he barely even scratched the surface: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars

Plus do you know what Outerversal is my dude? You arguably get the Space Marines up to that.

Yeah, here's the thing. None of the games covered by these forums tend to work well with the concept of VS debating. Mainly because the primary purpose of the games is to get the player character from Point A to Point B with (more than) a little sex along the way. Everything else is just set dressing and undressing. The weapons, the clothing, everything is just to help facilitate stuffing a hole with something.

Corruption of Champions - You're thrown into an alternate dimension as a sacrifice to the lustful creatures beyond.
Trials in Tainted Space - You're thrown into a horny galaxy because your old man didn't want a virgin taking over his company.
Corruption of Champions 2 - You're thrown into a continent spanning battle against a succubus who wants to turn your world into a copy of the one she came from.

But the crux of each story is not built around becoming the strongest, or breaking a galaxy or punching a god(dess). Instead its about sticking a dick into a hole. Or any number of sexual activities. Captain Steele will not bitch slap Galactus. The Champion of Hawkethorne is not going to topple the Seven. There's just a lot of other bodily fluids being spilled, in often fun and pleasant ways.

The only real VS debating that can come up here is whether or not a 16" inch dick is enough to satisfy someone or should the player character go even further.

None of his detracts from the story though, a BUNCH of games have these similar RP systems, such as the The Witcher, COTOR, DND, ect.

Nothing limits my questions here, especially based on what you just said, " Thrown into an alternate dimension, " That ALONE opens up plenty of questions about the cosmology and makeup of the verse. Anything can be applied to VS,even these games, as seen above, one dude The Shepard has given clear reasons why this is the case.

Those weapons are VERY powerful for a game no meant o be in VS, so when you say it's just about sex and little else, I consider it limiting, like that's missing a LARGE piece of these master pieces, plus, the combat is a HUGE part of both games, while the story can change based on how you go about fighting.

While I did say they were the most similar to Star Wars weapons, I didn't mean to imply that they were similarly powerful; after all, Steele can use them to reliably defeat enemies without inflicting any lasting damage, something which can't be said for the vast majority of Star Wars weapons (especially lightsabers).

I agree: while TiTS was always meant to be a porn game, that doesn't mean we can't speculate on the non-sexy aspects of it, especially since it already has a much larger amount of background fluff than one would expect from porn.

Actually, combat is a relatively small part of TiTS compared to mainstream RPGs (or just mainstream sci-fi & fantasy in general); it's possible to complete the entirety of the currently-implemented main story with only five battles (Tam, Khorgan, Teyaal, Feruze and Shock Hopper, all victories), and most non-quest combat is just an excuse to get more sex scenes into the game. Even the more serious, combat-oriented quests can be completed with only a handful of battles, with the Siege of Korg'ii Hold and KiroQuest being the only ones that require more than five for the best rewards.

1. Thanks for the responses, your already THE BEST dude I've talked to on this forum here!

2. I never stated hey were as strong as the weapons in Star wars, just that they are WAY more powerful then I; and likely ANYONE else here; thought.

3. Yes, the missions and story elevate these games WAAAAYY above any other kinds of hentai interaction I've ever played. Glad you also can see that mate!

4. That's half right, but remember you won't get far without updating you skills, weapons, and especially armors for some of the higher combat encounters; Such as in Megh'ii, Uveto, Zhang'ii, ect. Combat is esscential to get through a LARGE amount of the encounters, rather you look for them or not.

P.S. Do you know another good researcher who could help me with COC?

Combat is not essential to the game. Not in the sense of shooting at enemies or hitting them with blunt objects. In fact, the vast majority of enemies can be teased into submission. And you still get the same amount of XP.

That's still lustful combat though through seduction, also remember the fights you have to win just to get a prob, and the grinding you have to do to reach a certain level to beat those bosses, and all the weapons you get for beating said bosses that are in the story cut scenes themselves; just cause you beat them one way or another, you're still combating them.

Espically since some enemies in the game cannot be seduced, and you must beat them into submission.

Don't forget that most of the enemies in the game can be defeated by a level 1 Steele.

I can assure you I've played this game my dude, and that barely ANY of the enemies can be beaten by a level one Steele, in fact you level up rather quickly if you grind enough.

The Naleen would eat you alive at L.1 with your starter gear, and the same goes for Dane who's guarding your cousin's scary butt. Hell, I even got to level 4-5 before I challenged him and STILL just barely won. This is with the Mercenary class by the way.

I've gotten to Dhaal as a level 1 Steele as witnessed by the forum.

I have so many questions, did you use any cheats? What weapons did you have? Armor? Also, can I see evidence for this?
Part 1: https://forum.fenoxo.com/threads/any-playthrough-character-ideas-youd-like-to-try.15628/#post-266374
Part 2: https://forum.fenoxo.com/threads/stay-at-level-1-challenge-part-2-electric-bugaloo.19975/

Part 1 was 2 years ago, combat is even easier now with tease changes.

No cheats. Just figure out the fight beforehand, avoid all unnecessary combat, try to go in prepared.

I've asked around and I've only ever heard you completing the game in such a way, also another thing, did you know in Dishonored it's also possible to complete the game without any powers? Yet the combat is still a part of the game. I mean I'd love to see how you managed to get this dude to below - 1000 health without any high teir weapons, or perks?

Technically it is, because you still have to fight to progress the story in this mission. Level 1 or not.

Unless you can get by without fighting him, or Dane, or the Nerra queen.
