Is this not where you place writing concepts and ideas for events?I...don't think this goes in submissions, buddy.
There's plenty of people on here to ask for help, don't let some snarky comments get you down. Please don't take it personally, people are harsh on here but its only because they encounter silly mistakes like this a lot and its frustrating. Go back to the drawing board, come up with a better concept, brush up on how submissions work, ask people on the forums for advice and things will be better next time I promise you.Ok well that's nice. Just get passive aggressiveness or snarky comments all over the forum. There's nobody to ask for help when so many are like that. Might want to ask writers before having their characters gang raped though, I know that.
Tell it like it is!This is, just, no. Everything about this is no.
I mean, when the lead dev says "Everything about this is no", I think there's something to be taken away from itI would assume on such an inclusive game title with diverse usability options and a niche audience that a fellow lover of the game would be given a fair shake instead of a lead dev saying "Everything about this is no".
Couldn't have said it better myselfI'm gonna swallow my inner desire to be snarky like everyone else and try to be as genuine with you as I can. You're getting some pretty candid and slightly tactless responses, and the reason for that is, no offense intended here, the intended scope of your project is so beyond anything that's even wanted from community writers that it comes off as ridiculous.
I'm sure you're typing up another defensive jab at another writer, so before you let loose just stop for a moment, try to divest yourself of any emotional attachment to your writing, and just think, really think about the nature of your project and what you've posted so far.
You are attempting write post-game content for a game that:
1. Is at this moment only about half complete.
2. You do not know the ending to.You don't even know what the ending to the current arc/act is.
3. And this is kind of a big one. Is a porn game, and you've admitted you can't write porn.
Imagine for a second that I've just finished reading the ASOIAF series, and I am now going to write an epilogue series for it as my first foray into writing books. Nevermind the fact the final books haven't been written and I don't know the ending yet, and I've never attempted to contact GRRM to ask him what might even happen, and I'm not good at writing political intrigue so I'm just gonna skip over that stuff.
Doesn't that sound kind of silly? Like the sort of thing you wouldn't even assume was a real project? Did you even read any of the writing or even parser guides before posting?
Dude, as others have already pointed out to you this is a really bad idea, they aren't going to accept what you're writing if you go through with it. You sidestepping all the criticism people have given you and deciding to plow through is just stubborn and silly. Your concept is fundamentally flawed in ways that have already been pointed out to you, by continuing on this path you are only wasting your time, will open yourself to further ridicule and will probably piss people on the forums off, let alone Savin and other devs. As Huglife advised and pointed out to you, try to look at this somewhat objectively and you will see how ludicrous this seems to the rest of us. I tried to be nice and to give you genuine advice but you clearly didn't understand what I was saying. As for having drive and vision I get not wanting to lose impetus on an idea but you don't have to be Tolkien to come up with new concepts, give yourself time and I'm sure you'll come up with something more appropriate that you are equally excited for. Are there any existing non main party npcs in the game for example that you really like? Why not write a scene to expand on them. Then not only does that character have more content, its by your own hand. I say all this but unless you get good at writing porn this will probably be a fools errand. I suggest you practice at that if you really wanna give writing for a smut game a go.My current plan is to finish my project. It's ambitious and unpolished but I have the drive and the vision to do so. If I edit or go to a drawing board this early I will lose the vision and the drive instead of correcting and altering when it's complete because I am slow and too dumb to have a GRR martin lore and outline esque book beside me. I am accepting of critiques and criticism but I would assume on such an inclusive game title with diverse usability options and a niche audience that a fellow lover of the game would be given a fair shake instead of a lead dev saying "Everything about this is no". Of course it might not be as impressive a event submission as Kiyoko banging Takahiro but I still feel like there's room for a interesting corruption route and since no/minimal people are interested in writing as such I wanted to "be the change" or at least a small part of it, I don't value myself that highly.
I have no clue what going on but... Kiyoko can shag Takahiro?? Who came up with that terrible idea??
Oh that's better.. I'd rather not be sharing one of the better wives (better as in more content wise) the champ has with another being.Pretty sure they're misremembering.
