Alright, after giving that bitch life a good kick in the testes I finally managed to get something for the Fluff scenes on paper. I am honestly ashamed at how long it took me to actually do this. I'll spare the details, but a combination of real life events and other distractions completely took my mind off of Laethyr. Add to that that I'm new to writing smut. So yeah, I had difficulties getting started, but I'm getting there. I have not abandoned Laethyr.

A bit of a sidenote, I may begin writing content for another character I've been wanting to write whilst I work on Laethyr so that I don't continuously focus on Laethyr alone; helps with the sanity and all that.

Welp, that's that for this little update.

Alright, so a bit of an update on Laethyr, for those who are interested.

Progress has been incredibly slow, far slower than I’d be willing to admit. So after taking some time to think it over, I have concluded that this is largely due to myself. As I’ve been writing Laethyr, I’ve been trying to keep a certain pace, and in turn, pressured myself into working. And that’s where my problem lies. If I know two things of myself, it’s that 1: I don’t work well under pressure, and 2: when there’s pressure on my work, it immediately becomes less fun for me. Therefore, I am taking an indefinite hiatus on writing Laethyr, as well as any other project I may have mentioned so far. I’m going to take my time, and only write what I feel like writing, when I feel like writing. This’ll (hopefully) ensure quality writing, as well as continued progress.
I don’t know when I can give you the next status update. It may be next month. It may be in two months. It may even be next year. But as long as Trials doesn’t finish development by the time I finish Laethyr, I should be good to go.
