And for some reason what I ended up thinking about was Anno in a New Tokyo ultra porn gangbang...

What kinda place is that really?
I assume there would be a lot of AI's there.
Maybe it'd look a bit futuristic even by TiTS standard, while still maintaining a traditional japanese look.
Perhaps even an "akihabara" place or two. Full of indentured servants forced to TF and dress as cat maids. Full of funtimes.

Also I´d like to imagine there´d be red light districts akin to Yoshiwara.

Akira + Metropolis environments + Blade Runner building ads. Do you think people would still cosplay when they can literally be physically identical to whatever character they want? Why wear kitty ears when you can have kitty ears, and so on.

Buildings so tall that vertical bullet trains ala Fifth Element become common.
