She is definitely not a glass cannon much more so if you give the armor to her, touch her biceps and you'l see.So, for now it's just mostly choosing between a tank and a glass cannon? I see. Thanks

I think you have to confronted Senator Khaius at Phase 1 about the baths, dunno about this one.since its fully public now, can someone PLEASE tell me how to snitch on vrannus? i dont know why but he perticularly just unnerves me with his whole character and i wanna snitch
Nah, trust me, i don't need to touch her biceps to know the princess may look a little plump and soft but theres quite some muscle under all that chubbnesstouch her biceps and you'l see
I was able to do it, but nothing actually came of it. The only difference is that Raqian and Varena go "woah you're right" and then Raqian leaves without a fight. Neither Kelsaz nor Varena have anything to say about Vrannus after the dungeon even if you rat him out.I think you have to confronted Senator Khaius at Phase 1 about the baths, dunno about this one.
In Phase 2 after descovering what Vrannus is doing in the backrooms, seeing the desacrated shrine and snitching on his father after getting out of there (this one i'm not really sure about it).
Than at Phase 3 selecting at the high table with what should be done probably the corruption in the court option and afterwards talking to the tiran woman about what you saw an phase 2 in the backrooms with Vrannus and the shrine desacration and finnaly accusing him to Kassyra.
Probably also during Over Troubled Water quest you should have switched the valves so to stop the flow of the corrupted water and have capture both captured them at the end of the dungeon, this i really don't know if it is related or not.
And thanyou could probably get this option to highlight so you can maybe tell Raqian about it.

And taking the real Calise back to the king (dunno if there will be an difference if you go with or without the deal with the real Calise).
If your able to do it, Warn'a Brother. ^^
As i probably won't be doing it till i make my full anti-demon run.
hint hint nudge nudge - i havent seen it but theres a demon bust of vrannus so he aint done yetI was able to do it, but nothing actually came of it. I'm HOPING that Vrannus's comeupance is a thing that'll be implemented down the line, similar to other consequences of the Siege. Little worried it may not happen though, because now that we've thoroughly foiled him and Tollus is on his last legs, there's not much more damage Vrannus can do.... right?
Bro you didn't need to spoil me on that. Is it unused in the files or something?hint hint nudge nudge - i havent seen it but theres a demon bust of vrannus so he aint done yet

The content isn't all out yet, they're rolling out piece by piece over the next few updates.so i just finished the siege, have two saves now. One where i imprisoned Faceless Blade and Let the real Calise go, and one where i killed both Faceless and Real!Calise and then told the truth about Fake!Calise.
In the former save, i can't find Faceless in my dungeon or anywhere else, is there just not content written for that outcome yet?
Of the two, i prefer the latter outcome i think. Although i wish it was possible to kill Real!Calise while keeping Faceless Blade prisoner. It's weird that you can only spare Faceless if Calise is also spared.
thought as much, makes sense. Thank you!The content isn't all out yet, they're rolling out piece by piece over the next few updates.
SNIP
1. That's not the reason Kassyra stated and even if it was it wouldn't make much sense because the only way that would be logically feasible would be if every new born demon and imp ran head first into her axe the moment they were created.SPOILERS
1. Kas may have not cared about the individual demons, but Calise's actions would have slowed Kas down too much. Calise was well on her way to stopping the Demon Invasion during the two weeks the PC was in a coma at the start of the game. Kas and the Cult were also working together (mutually exploiting eachother) at that time.
2. Arrogance mainly. Also, Kas could be reasonably assured that Calise couldn't do anything to stop her. Demonification broke Calise and even if it didn't Kas was already thoroughly entrenched in Khor'minos.
3. Calise was a Paladin. Paladin's are in the service of the Seven but are not soulbound. Lumia has paladins, but those that are soulbound to her are Valkyries.
4. Tollus very quickly split with Kas and both were working to undermine eachother almost immediately. Tollus probably rocked up to Calise and basically said that the Cult is the only place that she would belong in as a demon, she would have a purpose and fights, and he was going to stab Kas in the back.

Ok, you disagree. You don't have to be a dick about it.look I mean no disrespect when I say this but you were way to quick to come in with real bad excuses for this shit.
Calm down. The authors made mistakes. It's okay, you don't have to make up a bunch of bullshit to defend them.
they weren't really a dick about itOk, you disagree. You don't have to be a dick about it.
The last paragraph is both unnecessary and rude imothey weren't really a dick about it
Champions aren't necessarily soulbound. Tira, for example, appoints chamions but doesn't do soulbinding at allshouldn't be able to turn into a demon since her soul shouldn't be on her
I agree that it wasn't the most exciting finale, and I expected a teensy bit more than what we got, but I also think you're a little too invested in being critical here. You've glanced over a lot of things explained in the quest.Right so act 2 ending was pretty bad in my opinion. not much I can say about the siege it was basically a glorified game of rock paper scissors only you can see what your opponent draws before you do. The dungeon itself was nothing to write home about either. none of the bosses or loot really impressed me apart from the chaos blade. Everyone talking about the Calise reveal but honestly the thing that really surprised me there was Katya's brother being stationed there as one of the boss and getting to fight and kill Kassyra.
As I'm sure you're all aware if you clicked the spoiler(or you don't care) the real Calise was the dark knight all along. The reveal felt pretty meaningless narratively speaking apart from the fact that it opens up and highlights a slough of even more glaring plot holes than the Lumia ex machina at the end of act one. For one, why does Kas give a shit about Calise killing demons that she feels the need to deal with her personally. She never gave shit about the demons she abandoned in the winter city or harvest valley. or the ones she practically encouraged the player to kill throughout act two, so why now with Calise does she feel the need to step in. second off if she was going to steal Calise's Identity it seems like it would be prudent to kill her so if nothing else she won't have a chance to blow your cover. I honestly can't think of a good reason for Kas to let her live even as a demon. Her being a demon doesn't stop her from killing other demons nor does it stop her from hunting Kas, if anything making her a demon would (and did) only make her more of a problem for Kas. Third, Calise was supposed to be Velun's Champion meaning she shouldn't be able to turn into a demon since her soul shouldn't be on her. But I guess Velun just works differently for some convenient reason. Finally, why in the world did Calise join the cult that worships the demon bitch that just raped her soul out of her and lead an army to try and destroy the very people she was sent to protect. I can see her not giving a shit about protecting people after turning into a demon and I saw the explanation of Tollus promising her a chance to fight Kas again but THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE. The bald creep who you know is working with the demon offered you exactly what you want even though he has no means of garaunteeing that in exchange for following his orders, and you just believe him. Did her fight with Kas leave her some kind of brain damage or was she always a moron.
I did enjoy the scene where we got to reveal everything to the king and Kas playing up the villian bit but overall pretty bad finale.
Why does Kass give a shit about Calise killing demons?
Why didn't Kass just kill Calise?
How did Calise become a demon if she's Velun's champion
Why would Calise work with the cult?
I already explained why that doesn't make sense in my reply to pallettown. also again That's not the reasoning Kas stated.Because the demons are useful pawns who do a lot of menial work to further Kass's goals. Letting Calise go full DOOM on them would kneecap a lot of her plans, can't have that. Especially since she wasn't just killing random demons around the country, she was specifically killing demons in an area where Kasyrra actually needs them alive.

Arrogance and spite. Kasyrra's often so drunk on her own power and demonic corruption that she makes decisions because she wants to instead she should (like insulting Mallach during the temple scene as he's indirectly trying to help her lmao). In particular, she tends to get REALLY catty about the gods. Raping the soul out of Velune's champion and then converting her into a demon general was purely a power move on her part, and she's super smug about it when asked during the dungeon.
In Varena's route Calise does end up outing her to the King and ruining her plan so this is a moot point. Just a villain being stupid plot convenience. Also, who the fuck would believe Demon Calise over Kasyrra Calise? Calise wouldn't even be able to make it into the city to rat her out, she'd be killed on sight. Even it she disguised herself to get in, Kass would just kill her and thus exonerate herself by showing everyone Calise is a demon.
ah whatever. it's not worth getting into the overall inconsistency of the games writing here."Champion" in this context does not mean soulbound. If you talk to her at the Wayfort, she explains where exactly the title came from. At no point does she say anything about Velun taking her soul or transforming her. All he did was give her the Ancient Hewer and a bit of encouragement. Because she tells us the whole story in detail, the only way she could be soulbound is if she chose to intentionally leave the detail out of the story, but since she's a demon that obviously isn't the case.
I haven't read through any of Calise's dialog and I don't intend to because I honestly think she's a pos. So I'll take your word for it but that doesn't change the fact that had plenty of options on how to move forward after becoming a demon and just went with the first shady looking fuckface that offered her a spot and is a moron for doing so.As she tells you at the Wayfort, Calise as a demon is full of nearly uncontrollable urges all the time, similar to Kasyrra. She perpetually wants to beat the shit out of something and fuck the shit out of something, in that order. After being turned into a demon, she had nowhere else to go, so she joined up with the Cult because it guaranteed her a place to stay and an outlet for her urges. Plus, she was (and still is) pissed that Velun didn't intervene somehow and save her, so she's abandoned the path of righteousness and is probably eager to make others suffer the way she suffered.
I already explained why that doesn't make sense in my reply to pallettown. also again That's not the reasoning Kas stated.

I don't care if people think I'm being rude. It's more or less what I've come to expect around here. my only point with that was that people don't need to be so reflexively defensive about criticism. At least think through your responses instead of just pulling stuff out of your ass that sounds like it might make more sense if you just ignore what's actually written.

the go to phrase for people who have know actual basis for what they're talking about, but desperately want to believe the story they made up in there own head no matter how many times I tell them it doesn't make sense."Subtext, It's all in the subext"
Right, and do you know why she wanted to do that? protecting the cows was part of it but there was another major reason why she wanted the siege to fail. If you're actually capable of reading subtext you should be able to figure out how Calise's reveal Royally screwed Kas over. Her goal was to influence the Siege in Khor'minos's favor,
yes it is, but as I've said I'm not getting into it here. There are inconsistencies, but this isn't one of them.
I'm not demanding that Kas be perfect and always make the right decision. but I expect more from her than "and so I left her there and just assumed she wouldn't be a problem".Even if she had been exposed earlier, the point would still stand that Kasyrra is a flawed character and she made a bad decision out of hubris. I know it's easy to forget because she's so powerful, but Kass isn't and was never meant to be a perfect villain who doesn't make mistakes. She's a person, and she actually fumbles things constantly if you look real close. She's just really good at hiding it and pretending nothing's wrong.
