As someone also with signs of depression (I wouldn't be surprised if I had it officially), it's really not as bad as you're making it out to be.

not gonna invalidate your struggles like the text does but people kill themselves over their feelings ignored/devalued so yea sometimes it gets pretty bad.

As someone with a diagnosis, while I chuckled at first, I do agree that it isn't something you should say to people.

These are fictional characters, not real people. It's not speaking to real people nor do the writers actually think this way about depression (I fucking hope nobody does).
