Make A Character Related Virgin Scene Poll

Virginity is a really important aspect of sex games, like this one. You can choose to be one or not, you can choose if you want to keep it or lose it. When playing the game as a full virgin, i've noticed tons and tons of content where you take others virginities but almost none where they take yours.

I've talked about this in a backer patch before and i got some responses out of it from other writers, saying that they don't encourage people to save their virginities and rather let it go early in the game, usually on the first planet.

This is unfair for people like me who want to keep it/save it for someone special. If you want to be a Pure maiden, you should be allowed to do so, but in the writers eye, this is false.

There is nothing stopping you from playing as a maiden, in every encounter you find, you always have a choice to not have sex. For example when you first find Penny, you have a choice between having sex and not, while when you encounter Kiro, you can either have sex or fix the pump to avoid it.

While talking about Kiro, even though she isn't a player, she's had sex thousands of times and have never had virginal sex scene ever until she finds the player, which means she was a pure maiden for so long.

IF the game wanted you to lose it early, it would of forced you to do so.

All i'm asking here right now is for there to be a official Poll on the website asking for:

Something like that. I know for a fact that so many would love to have this, where when you have sex with someone and they do you, there's a scene for it. So that NPC's acknowledge that you the character are a virgin, like you do to them if they are.

Right now, if you have sex with someone, even though they are virgins themselves and they do you, it's like you've done this for a very long time even though you've never done it.

Just a poll, to see if people want more or if they don't. Thats the only way you would know the truth.

Within this irritating and incredibly presumptive post there is a kernel of something I agree with, which is this:

This is one of several problems with making the hero an 18 year old virgin, that I continue to argue could be solved by bumping their age up 4 or 5 years. I'd say we could quietly ditch the entire maidenhead mechanic at the same time; unfortunately a number of scenes actually do account for the PC's virginity, such as Riya's vaginal, so unfortunately we're stuck with yet another poorly thought-through and barely supported mechanic which attracts fringe nutters who want to know why their fetish is barely acknowledged and when we're going to do more of it.

Anyway. Here's a quick list of reasons why the PC's virginity hardly ever gets mentioned, and why your demand falls on scornful ears.

1) By its nature, it's a one off thing. So you're writing a scene that, even if a PC has managed to preserve themselves for it, they are going to be able to see once. Given all the repeatable things you could instead be focusing your effort on, it's simply not worth the time.

2) This is a game where you're supposed to fuck. It's also a game where rape is a central mechanic. Most greenhorns will lose their virginity to a massive snake tail. That's going to happen. Players really should not be encouraged to think that the thing they have sex with first is special in any way, because it will lead to frustration. It's another reason why I'd prefer the whole mechanic to go, and the question of who Steele fucked first to be whatever works best in the imagination of the player, if they happen to care at all.

3) Frankly, the type of NPCs that are interested in the player's virginity tend to be bad. Not always, but usually. Mary Sues for whom that kind of thing matters. 'Someone special's. Fuck that, and fuck them.

4) As Hugs has already mentioned, in most scenes - particularly when they're on top - the PC kind of has to be good at sex. In order for the sex to be worth fapping to, you see. That runs completely at odds to the concept of virginity. It's easy to come up with NPCs who are inexperienced, fun and sweet even in the case of the Vanae and Embry. The PC can't get the same treatment and continue to be a totally awesome lay everywhere else, which is why what content there is revolving around it is heavily in favour of the NPC being deflowered.

Ultimately, coming on here with this kind of petulant demand only hardens my belief that the whole thing would be better if Steele was a bit older and/or the entire mechanic was stripped out, because it simply reminds me how awkward and unfortunate it all is.

Having NPC's been virgins is not so terrible idea but PC too...umm I not feel it would end well.

Also aside fact they would be one time scenes as said above there is other aspect: sex scene that is supposed to show two virgins...would be probably so dull it will make some feel bored or have other not so positive reactions. That if writer would indeed manage to capture pretty accurate how sex of two virgins looks like.

4) is highly relevant to said "kernel of truth". I mean, in any porn game (except maybe ones with a submissive PoV), the main character is always just naturally good at sex, because that's what makes it easier to fap to. In more complex games like visual novels and hell even actual books, the same thing happens because no one really wants to read about an awkward first time unless it's just the first of many scenes in a longer storyline.

With respect to TiTS, we all want Steele Jr. to just be a sex god. It would explain why everyone is always so down to bang you and lot of NPCs even call you the best fuck of their lives. Also, even if it was different, Steele Jr. would still just go from being a virgin to not being a virgin. There isn't going to be any progression there.

Hell if I'm being completely honest I think the whole virginity stat exists so that certain players can be certain types of virgins. Like male with no anal sex, herm with no vaginal sex, etc.

Don't have to create hole new scenes, the part which is always the best IS in fact the akward scene where they do it for the first time, Usually when they take off their clothes and then do the penetration. After that, it could easily go to the normal scene as the virginity is already lost.

Not everyone likes a dominant steele who knows everything about sex, some like a submissive steele which doesnt know how to do it.

And my "Demand" isn't more than a "Request" for the site administrators to just press some buttons and put up a poll.

If the presentage says that people don't want more, then its understood, but until then, you cant speak like you KNOW how everyone feels about this topic.

Also, not everyone likes a buildup. Most think thats boring, as you want the sex part, not the storyline which is multiple pages long and multiple encounters away. THAT is what's annoying.

Again, just because you guys don't like the mechanic, doesnt mean everyone that supports this game does as well.

If you think you're right, do the poll. Then, we'll see who agrees and who doesn't.

If i knew how to write my own stories, id do that in a jiffy but i don't. I'm not saying i dont like the content or any writers. It feels like i've hurt them or something. And its like the Poll request is an impossible thing to do, like its so hard to do and so time consuming that it takes to much time to do it.

The poll isn't what is time consuming. It's the virgin variants that are. Having those one time blurbs lots of times don't feel worth the effort, especially for later content. And plus, it all depends on the writer. Of course people would want this, as a poll would undoubtedly show. But that ends up with writers feeling forced to write virgin stuff, even if they don't want to. And the last thing writers want is to feel forced to write stuff they don't want to.

I'm with Nonesuch here: chances are your Steele will fall victim to a naleen, so preserving virginity is a mostly pointless thing to do in the first place. You can play a "virgin" run like Pokémon fans do Nuzlocke runs or how I played the Space Bash level (from the game Crash Bash) by destroying the stage instead of attacking the NPCs, but that's going against what the game is about. And what the game is about deals with bonking everyone in your path. I personally don't, but that means missing out on tons of contents that could be up your alley (hello, Lane sex scenes).
I'd like it if my Steele was a switch that's neither awkward nor "the best fuck I ever had" and that's my headcanon. But here you're roleplaying as the offspring of a notorious fucklord. I don't really like it and I can go all "tralalala, tl;dr". But that won't change what the game is.

Otherwise: put your money/written effords where your mouth/fingers is/are. If you don't, search for a different game. Modify the thread to include a poll. Remember that forumites=! every TiTS fan ever. Play easy mode or browse the game GitHub repository to read scenes.

In TiTS my Steele always loses their virginity to Celise since it seems mean to not feed her, if not her it'd probably be Flahne or Syri. I guess it'd be nice to have it be someone like Xanthe, and if she had a custom scene just for virgins it might be worth it if it was the level of intensity of writers like JimT [RIP in Pisces] or Hugs but otherwise its pretty pointless, and even then its entirely pointless for X-1 NPCs since you only get one per game.

I think everyone here has a kink they wish was acknowledged every chance it could be but that's not how TiTS works.

I usually end up trading my virginity for Syri's booklist or 200 credits per day. Because of this, i have zero interest in virginity scenes or variants past planet 2. And i wouldn't waste writers time on a scene variant that only 2% of players ever experience, and most would just skim thro anyways.

If your intent isn't to force or persuade writers to include virgin variants, but to say "Hey, this would be liked, just to let you know", then what you're trying to say is entirely pointless. Like I and others have said, of course people would want more variants. More variants of anything. So a poll asking if that is wanted is actually pointless; because we already know that it is. A poll won't change anything.
