As a heads-up, the main content for this release, Island is only about 75% completed. This is because some really major issues came up in my life last month (basically the place I was going to move to this summer essentially vanished, leaving me having to scramble to find somewhere else to live.) All this, just in time for the three-year anniversary, because of course bad things would choose to happen then and not literally ANY other time.
Fortunately, it's mostly taken care of now.
(And also because the coding for Island is REALLY complicated.)
So don't fret if Island feels like stuff is missing, there'll be more to it coming next release for sure!

3. Miscellaneous flags related to opened chests and stuff that shouldn't affect too much.
I've also made it so that it's clear when the game is autosaving, as well as letting the player load the last autosave instead of having to go to the load menu. If you prefer the old way, you can change the settings in the options.

Wow, I haven't played for a few months and I gotta say I'm quite overwhelmed with the amount of little things added to the game and trying to figure out how to progress from one thing to another. Take upper level of the city for example. I kept a save there in case I need to grab some quest items from there that I'll need in other areas, but I'm still not sure if there are any or if there's already a way to go back without playing the pass gacha every time. Currently I'm also stuck with Alissa's route (got to the point where I can play with her upstairs and I can't find any clue what to do next), getting Bell to lactate (succubus science failed me) and obtaining food for the fairies (had a few ideas where it could be, but all of them turned out to be wrong).

Welcome back! It can definitely be hard to tell, yes. Your best bet is to browse the changelog and see which areas have gotten an update.
For Alissa, try walking around the abandoned town
For Bell, visit pixie in the graveyard (not the Manor, but her hideout). You might need to have renovated the milk farm
Fairies actually want something that can be found in UNA.
