Been thinking of starting a group rp in the vein of CoC or TiTS, but not sure what sorta theme to go with. Could try and do a sci fi dystopia, or perhaps a kinky resident evil inspired lewd apocalypse? Would love some ideas and suggestions along with anyone who'd like to try em with me.

Whatever you do, keep it simple. By that I mean don't use any kind of mechanical system, like D&D, they always fall through. Also, keep the narrative loose enough that people can come and go without it bringing the story to a halt, because people WILL drop out unexpectedly, or go long periods without posting, if you're doing it here on the forums.

Depends on the setting. I'd prefer a TiTS-like setting - technologically advanced, not really dystopian, generally quite liberal and sex-positive, and at least some kemonomimi races to choose from - but I'm open to other settings as well. Except post-apocalyptic. Two more things to note:
1. Time zone differences could make it difficult for me to participate live (I live in UTC +10 (+11 in southern DST)).
2. I don't have much experience with role-playing, so I probably won't be good at it.

I used to play MUDs, text based online games. Having netsex was relatively popular there. I would say a game like that is a good environment for sex RP. Since you do not need to build your own rooms, areas, NPCs and other world building. This was 20 something years ago, but I am pretty sure there are still active MUDs running. Since having a server up hardly needs any resources at all.
I would say a roleplay oriented MUD would be best suited, since other players you bump into will usually be "in character (IC)". As opposed to the players who are just there for hack n slash and are usually "out of character(OOC)".
edit: Now when I think about it there are probably sex oriented MUDs out there. I played fantasy themed RPG ones so I never went looking for sex dungeons. (MUD = Multi User Dungeon)

You will pick it up relatively quickly by observing others. It is not really a big deal if your character is not fully developed from the start. Give your character some mannerisms and some moral values and have the character follow them until you feel a need to change them.

A dystopian sci-fi setting sounds fun! I also don't have a lot of rp experience, but I would love to join. Shepard brings up a good point with the time zones though.

I can say for the 2 one I'd be willing to help on the forum or discord with 1 to 1 messaging if you want. For the 1st one patience is a virtue and it is something that people would have to ignore or work with me work with.
I'd be interested as well, rather play a kemonomimi or human and hope there is required level of expertise for joining, mostly chill with settings except for some post-apocalyptic ones, also only able to do text-based.

Also managed to get her hands on her old Swat gear a exo skeleton that ran down her spine and along her limbs. (Think advanced warfare.)

Backstory, character picture, etc: Isabel was a prodigious electrical engineer and coder, being accelerated through the end of high school by age 12, getting a Bachelor of Engineering at 14, landing a job at a presitigious tech firm shortly after, and finishing her Master's degree in Computer Science at 17. For three of her five years at the tech firm, she worked on a project that would later evolve into the Mother AI, but her contributions were cut short by the plague, which forced her into stasis {until a cure could be invented/while she was being cured} (whichever is appropriate to the backstory).
Upon awakening in 2499 and discovering what became of her work, she was rather distraught at being partially responsible for the Mother AI's existence, and vowed to rectify that by doing everything in her power to take it down.
She lacks any real combat skills; what she does have are expert knowledge in her field, and subdermal cybernetic implants that allow her to wirelessly interface with electronic devices. The signal strength (and thus the effectiveness of her interface) increase with proximity to the device, but it's significantly less effective against anything that lacks wireless capabilities - she can still interface with such devices, but it requires her implants to directly interact with the electric currents inside it (as opposed to going through a wireless port/modem/router/whatever, like usual), which is rather challenging for her to maintain. These make her an expert hacker, giving her an edge against robots, androids and the like. If given sufficient time and resources, she could also create small drones to assist her and/or her allies.
In terms of appearance and personality, she's heavily based upon my version of Captain Steele from TiTS; she has a big heart, enjoys humour and is willing to fuck almost anyone who consents, isn't hostile and won't insult/degrade her.

Yeah, I live in Sydney, Australia, which timezone-wise is about as far away as you can get from most other English-speaking countries - I'm UTC+10/11 (depending on DST), the UK is UTC+0, the US and Canada are like, UTC-7 or something.
Thanks! I have a question about the setting/gameplay: how are we going to handle pregnancy and childrearing? I doubt our characters will have enough time to raise any children they make during the course of their adventures. Is there some kind of nursery we can leave the kids at? Or are effective contraceptives (preferably more like Sterilex than condoms) common enough that avoiding impregnation is trivial? That sort of thing.
