As stupid as this might be for asking cuz I know somewhere people have asked this, what are the pro and cons for going inari shoujo and/or kitsune hime, just not sure if one is better than the other, cuz I know there has been a lot of gripes over the years with kinu content in her growing up too fast cuz magic stuff and her ending up with possibly nakano bleehh worst choice ever, plus with how indifferent the kitsune people are towards the MC for being an outsider and all that stuff. Just someone tell me what are the pro and cons for going inari shoujo and/or kitsune hime for kinu, or if I shouldn't bother at all???

pros for farm kinu: better aesthetic, actually likes farm guy as a person, not a mini-kiyoko
cons for farm kinu: violent allergy to receiving help from others, poor relationship with kiyoko (fair bc child abuse)
cons for princess kinu: nakano is there, uncomfortable outfit, doesn't like you bc of the decade of no-show (fair tbh)
pro to princess kinu (singular): can rp weird stepcest shit with a handsome kitsune dude

Does kitsune hime kinu really hate MC, from what I remember from my older playthroughs she made it seems as if she understood the situation, or was she just masking her real emotions???
another con for princess kinu is that she is never really herself, through out this path you continuously either choose something that kiyoko will love and not you, dont help others and make them face consequences, and hide your emotions because you dont want to inconvenience others, its not really raising a child its indoctrinating a baby to be like her mother
I can understand that problem the only issue is the other path makes her so antagonistic to her mother to be everything she's not. Like its fine to be your own person just don't treat who you might become as an enemy.
Honestly, I was going to do kitsune hime route, even if she hates my mc's guts for literally something out of my control, and that isn't warranted, at least she would've had people to belong too, but argghh now I'm not too sure of anything in regards to kinu, to be honsest wish there was an option or scenes where kiyoko can talk some sense into kinu, like its not like my mc wants to abandon his family for a whole decade and more.

Another pro for hime - she gonna marry nakano, if you love Rindo this is good for you because otherwise she hyperfixates in some talks because she has/had a huge crush on Nakano. in this way nakano is a pro and a con, con because he sucks, pro because he gets taken of the table.
Also I never really felt like hime kinu hates you, but maybe that's just me.

Yeah I've never read Hime Kinu as hating champ, they pretty clearly love and cherish them. Rather, Kinu's grown more into her role in Kitsune society and thus away from you since you're still an "outsider" no matter what. By default that means you're a bit more distant than before and there's a bit of angst over that and the lost years. If anything it's because she loves you so much that there's grief but she's moving past that and so should champ. I believe there's a line to that affect somewhere in her dialogue, that the fact she doesn't need you any more makes the fact that she chooses to spend time with you more meaningful.
Also Inari Kinu means having Kinu and Kiyoko at each other's throats and that just doesn't seem like a good state of affairs, it feels especially bad since Kiyoko's the one who had to raise her for 10~ years. Not to mention Kinu's fundamentally a part of Kitsune society more than ours and as a Kitsune she can't really integrate into the Frostwood since Kitsune are still seen as "soul suckers," having her rebel against that seems like needless friction. I also don't really dislike Nakano? At least as a partner for Kinu. Don't get me wrong I think he's an arrogant brat but like, he's young, being arrogant and ambitious is almost expected. I think it's best summed up as "she can fix him." In particular, I think the threats to her safety would get him to mature a bit, and the fact that he's in love with a "barbarian's" child should help him get over that.

but you are forgetting that kiyoko herself isnt a part of the kitsune society as a whole, the colony is basically all backwater outcasts that were sent there in hopes of being forgotten, kinu wont really be accepted in that community because she has the blood of the filthy outsider, so isnt it better to simply abandon a society thats way too rigid and elitist and just live life?(or maybe im biased)
