Actually, she is not a real problem here. What is wrong with her is already said. But the true problem is with the development priorities.

Let's see here. What Fenoxo does after returning to development? He reviews it, reads the thread, sees all the controversy, and IMMEDIATELY implements it in the game. Others submissions? They can wait months and years. This? Got implemented ASAP. Reason? Because it is insulting. Yep. Fenoxo has deliberately insulted his audience and threatened them with bans if they are not happy with it.

Actually, that does raise questions as to why did he put her in immediately. There are other pieces of content that are better that could be implemented, but she gets in just like that? Why?

But I'm NOT on board with the theory that Fen did it JUST to piss people off

Because it's a small submission, on the front page, and a barely catered to fetish at the moment.

That's what I mean. Her content bending the opposite way, making the reader think they can do the usual and get their whims and revenge boner catered to only to be frustrated at every turn because the person they're trying to ruin is Made or whatevs is part of how its eroticism works (and for those who aren't into it the tease and denial is still sort of funny just as it is whenever Savin does it). I'd definitely also like to see some stuff that isn't quite as extreme as this that's more toward that "you're like 10 and expect me to be impressed because of who your daddy is?" type of flavor; this is more meta and aimed at the players who feel like everything should be a part of their power fantasy/everyone who acts superior or offends them should be able to be fucked into a quivering pile of bimbo slime and players who find the abuse and frustration to be hot.

I don't see any problem with having some content like this to contrast the 857 submissive shopkeepers who fall instantly in love with Steele Jr. and are immediately willing to bend over backward (or forward) for them. Having some characters who're just bad people adds some depth to the setting, too.

Hm, like I said, the biggest problem with her in my opinion is the fact that you can't do anything about her. Having assholes in the game is not bad; it's something different that can be quite interesting. I just think you should have the options to turn the table or punish those assholes for their behaviour. Not redeem them or anything, but simply punish them for what they did, sooner or later.

By the way, am I the only one that now wants to see a character that initially is not impressed or even outright hates Steele because of something Victor did? And then Steele has to actually build a relation with this character by proving themselves useful: you know, helping around, completing missions, showing competence and all this yadda yadda. And as you go building your relation, this character starts to like and respect Steele a little more. Never bending over to Steele or treating they like a godsend, but giving honest and hard-earned praise, offering advice, having some drinks as buddies and maybe even having a bit of casual sex. With the possibility that, depending on how Steele acts, this character begins to hate them even more and actively try to get in his way.

I feel like I would enjoy a character like that.

You're getting upset at the artistic liberties of a text based sexual fantasy game. Where'd that tweet go, ha ha it's just text on a screen just turn off your monitor ha ha etc.

On the one hand, you have an entire submission thread to argue about this back and forth, possibly because you just oh-so-quaintly assumed it wouldn't get in because you didn't like it or something. Instead that went extremely off topic throughout and here you are. On the other hand, however, the majority of posters have went about this affair rather civilly, which is what I expect from the user base on any forum median, let alone here.

Either way, however, this thread started out in a bad place and will be nipped in the bud immediately. And by immediately I mean like a day later how'd I miss this WHOOPS. If you wish to suggest things to the author, please use the submission thread. In the same vein, however, avoid just having the usual back and forth of "Should this character exist" etc etc ala Kelt/etc as, hey, it exists. Tough noogie!

If you see my message, you'll note that I actually ONLY read the most recent page, which was almost entirely discussions about other characters and nothing to do with the actual submission. The character, while early and still needing a bit more content, was very well written (better than 95% of the things that come across my desk for sure), even if she does irritate people. It was also small (meaning I could code it quick), and self-contained enough to stand on its own without needing placeholder filler.

I resent your assertion that I implement content entirely to piss of my players. Similarly, if you're not going to do anything on these forums but stir up hate, you don't need to be here. The ban you're getting isn't because you're unhappy, it's because you can't seem to conduct yourself with a modicum of civility for whatever reason, despite numerous, numerous warning. The only reason you weren't already permanently banned was because I'm apparently the voice of mercy on this team, and you just toasted any reason I had to stick up for you.

Answered above. Now to lock this thread and let it die the death it deserves. (For the record, I'm not against her comeuppance. It just needs to be done right. If it treads into murderporn or makes me uncomfortable, it won't go anywhere).
