If Fen would have major vote I would say another copypaste npc like his most common trophy type of npc would it be 
Maybe it would be this time pure female (I know with so many forces pusing toward as amny as possible herms or giving hermification to existing females it's alsmo heresy to say about pure female type of npc comming out ^^).
If it would be X race male that again like Dane got one in million rare mutation...I would just call it going easy and not even trying to be creative ^^

These are just wishes on my part:
- More than one henchmen, maybe a duo or a small team.
- A gritty character, female would be nice.
- A klutz who´s actually really good at his/her job, but is kind of an airhead.
- A synthetic robo fighter (do those exist?)

I mean she would need to face PC so to do rrally good at her job she would need to beat PC and that may not been possible as it would be still lost even if like on Mhen'ga cousin will leave coords to that new gal can have...more fun with PC on next planet.

Personally I believe Steele will always be Jill´s superior...And if they´re in a sub/dom relationship, knowing that she´ll pay you back tenfolds in the bedroom will probably only spur on your bossiness outside your private life. "Quite the attitude you had today" Jill says mischievously. "You can only make a muffled response". I´ll leave what´s going on up to people´s imagination

@Arhon Tbh I think there is quite many pure female npc/enemies but....herm ones geting like 5 times more spotlight or been meantioned so people may thing that we got tons of herms and barely any females. But that duo mercs gals been galls without bonuses woud be good. Maybe would help to lessen issue of "so many herms in this game".

Probably someone in the hard-sci spectrum of things, either super alien (eh) or super technological. Hell, maybe it'd literally be an AI that runs rampant to fuck with you. (In that case it'd also need an actual sci-fi planet, but)

Do you mean 'actually tachologically advanced planet?
Because as soft as their realization part might have turned out, the planets we got so far follow some pretty venerated Sci-Fi tropes.

@Savin Well herms do getting more spotlight than pure females (or pure males). How many times there was any promoting in blog post of any pure females in last...ummm 15-20 blog posts? And I not mean text since you also aware how many people actualy "read" blog post and not just looking over it breifly and stopping for a longer moment at pic attatched to the post.
Maybe a more criminal type of mercenary, a stone-cold killer who eventually betrays Jack/Jill for monetary gain, maybe even offers the PC a deal along those lines. An undercover Black Void pirate hoping to steal the inheritance before coming to the conclusion that JJ doesn't have what it takes to win it. A ruthless but poor Rusher who intends to follow along until they get a chance to steal JJ's ship and stuff. Any of these, and that eventually turns up as a lieutenant of Miriam Bragga, who so far seems to monopolize violent cold-heartedness despite not really appearing. There's a bunch of cold-hearted slavers, most waiting to be implemented I believe, but few killers. Or maybe one or two red myr soldiers who want a taste of a more advanced sort of warfare, as it seems Myrellion is calming down one way or another and they want more fighting elsewhere. Or even a psychic/psion of some kind, who JJ was lucky enough to happen upon and rich enough to recruit. He/she needs some way to stay in the race after all. Edit: Myr pair idea development: maybe two early orange myr, one former red and one former gold, who hopes to master modern warfare and forge ties with a galactic megacorp in order to unite the myr races and the cultural strengths of both into a cohesive force to wage war on an interplanetary scale.

Would be hilarious if this mercs would be actualy someone hired at one of newly discovered worlds ^^ Lil probability since JJ will not risk that even if that mercs would look competent.

It'd be interesting to hook them up with an actual competent bad guy who's planning to use them to get at the Steele fortune themselves. Could lead to options like saving your cousin from them, leaving them to sleep in the bed they made, etc. Jack/Jill gives off heavy mid boss vibes.
Based on this, I'm curious if you think that there is no way for Cousin to grow as a character and/or take a level in badass and become an adequate threat by themselves? Or for them to turn towards cooperating with Captain Steele outside of the ' finding a common foe in Bigger Bad' scenario?
This is the rush, so seeing Cousin grow as a stronger foe would be pretty nice. There´s plenty of ways to improve or find good equipment after all.
Currently he/she seems pretty reliant on money. Nothing bad with that of course, but I´m just saying, it would be pretty interdusting.

I am of a similar mind as balitz, so I'm gonna answer too: Seeing JJ grow as a character would be fun, as I'm not at all unfond of them like many seem to be, but since they fire Dane after the Nyrea incident they seem to be refusing to accept any blame for the moment. It may very well be that ego that gets in their way as well, so with a more humble outlook in the future they may well "level up" in competency while growing less antagonistic, or perhaps into more friendly competition. I also think that JJ getting their grubby mitts on advanced psychic abilities far ahead of the PC could be fun, especially if they end up unable to properly utilize it due to lack of willpower and losing as a result. Also a final ending choice I'd like to see 200 years from now is the cousins reconciling and the PC handing control of Steele Tech to JJ in order to keep adventuring or live quietly with their huge family.
Yes she appears in the 2nd(Or was it 3rd... i dont remember...) quest line of Saendra.
Well tbh till now JJ not even personaly picked a bone with PC jsut keep sending if needed Dane. So if JJ is or isn't competent enemy/boss enemy we would see when we finaly get chance to fight with him/her over some probe. But with atm plans for new ones henchmen it seems we still need 2-3 more planets to finaly cross blades with JJ ^^
@Arhon 1st quest is to rescue her at Phoenix and beat Void troopers there. 2nd quest is 2 part quest to first beat void at deck 92 then go beat them at upper floor behing Anon Bar. So technicaly it's just 2 quests with 2nd one having 2 parts.

I think by now its well established that Dane is The Dragon. So now, JJ needs another Dragon to do his/her dirty work. Hmmm... any chance of recruiting Dane as a follower? We needs more husbandos!.

Dane IS kinda foreshadowed to be a follower in future.
And about JJ needing their Dragon...for a moment I thought from your post Zevos that you said that JJ WILL turn out to be actualy just a Dragon of some other villain we may or may not yet meet ingame.
