Why does this item not count as a unique item? I mean, No any vendor sells this item and has terrible stats other than just taking a space in storage. Will there be any event involving this item? Or can I just drop it?

The only reason I have kept this is out of sentimental value.

You can retry Artifice Testing as many times as you like provided that you don't complete it by defeating all twenty-five puppets. Beat at least ten of them and the Black Monkshood will be part of the reward you get. You can also use the quest to obtain Winterstem and Wyldsap in quantity.
