Is there a possibility we might see Cyberpunk themed gear/accessories in the future?

I'd love to see more piercings, with or without effects and some hairstyles/clothes to match. Generally, I think TiTS could do with more punky space girls/dudes.

I'd love to hear any other ideas you guys might have regarding this.

I do like that aesthetic. I had this idea once of a thraggen tattoo artist who is constantly inking and piercing herself because of their weird pain/pleasure dynamic.

To answer your question, it's definitely a possibility, but as noscope god has said, the best way to guarantee something you want gets in game is to write some compelling content for it yourself.

With the recent inclusion of a piercing system, hopefully ways to customize our characters through piercings isn't too far off. I'd personally love to see a combined piercing / tattoo parlor added to Tavros.

As for the general aesthetic of Cyberpunk. There are a few character who sport the style. The mouse vendor on New Canadia, whose name escapes me atm, for example. So certainly the style can fit within TiTS.

Maybe decide what flavor of cyberpunk you’re looking for. Shadowrun has a different feel to it compared to Blade Runner, likewise that will have a different feel to Neuromancer or to Altered Carbon and so on.

That said, TiTS always felt (to me) like it was heavily influenced by Blade Runner, just without the killer androids. So work from there, what is the style, what is the aesthetic and so on.

We traded the killer androids for the sexy aliens and killer mods.

I feel like shadow run is the decaf of cyberpunk, not enough punk more just of the cyber.

I think what they want is more neon and people in Mohawks that are hot pink and shotguns that have 5 barrels.

There's also cyberpunk 2077 which is likely to bring cyberpunk back and in a bit of a brighter form.

Eh...sometimes I reread the Sprawl trilogy and come on here all creepy about this game like a kid hoped up on sugar and caffeine (sorry), forgetting this game is really the spiritual successor to Mass Effect (suck it, Bioware).

Same. I just hope that my lady V can nail some corporate bigwig lady despite being a low-class merc probable piece of shit.

CDPR has been very open about nudity and the existence of one night stands within Cyberpunk 2077, I'd say what you ask is probably at least somewhat likely.

While the overall setting of TiTS is obviously grounded in space opera, I agree that it does already have some pretty strong elements of cyberpunk in there. Amoral mega-corporations, crime, a focus on the seedy side of technology and body modification are all classic cyberpunk tropes. I imagine it's a bit different for everyone, but in my head the aesthetic is much more Total Recall than it is Minority Report.

You can fly like an eagle, run like a cheetah, fight like a Korgan but you'll never be better then Commander Shepherd.

Steele is better lover tho, totally. Shepherd can only handle 1 lover at a time.

Is a brand-name, mass-produced set of punk clothes not, in fact, the most cyberpunk of all?

Obligatory Che Guevara T-Shirts headlined with Destroy Capitalism, now only 45 credits!

I'm aware. I do still want to express my desire though.

Not like I got much else to do related to the game while waiting for it.

I was only trying to promote such thought, and yes, it's a long ass way to the 2020ish release date.

Wait a flipping second, how did I not mention cybernetic limbs to go with my (cheated in)cybernetic eyes, or a cybernetic implant weapon or something for the accessories slot.

Hmm... Could we maybe do the kinda punky "shaved on the sides" hairstyle? I've been thinking about doing it irl and it'd be cool to do in-game as well.

Holy shit yes

I *need* this hairstyle for Steele (And also V, but that's gonna have to wait a while, since the game is not even in alpha yet...)

Besides pink mohawks and fauxhawks, that hairstyle has become so cyberpunk and I'm not exactly sure why.
