What about characters who remained underdeveloped like the Elf Boy or the Kitsune Scouts?

Sav mentioned previously in the thread that the release version of the game may prune clearly half baked/unfinished characters, with an option to enable them in the settings like Skyrim's "Cutting Room Floor" mod.

Elf boy may or may not fall into that category. Kinda subjective, but I turn him off every playthrough and I'm not sure that anyone would notice he's gone.

Kitsune Scouts I think are fine, tbh. Assuming you're talking about Hinata/Kiri/Yuzu, they seem to mainly be introduction/setup to the Kitsune Den.

It seems writers who have already gotten content in the game can write for them if they want.

elf boy probably cutting board mode, kitsune scouts already integrated into the start of floof house stuff so I doubt they'll get cut, even if they are limited.
