Implement Stun Immunity system from CoC2 into TiTS to prevent stunlocking

During the train fight on Phaedra I found the last three out of the four bosses all caused stunlocking, I'd lose 3+ turns and there was nothing I could do but hope to roll to be not stunned anymore, only to risk getting stunlocked once more and starting the cycle all over again. To say this is not fun is an understatement and stunlocking has been a problem I've seen in balancing TiTS since the Deepsea Research Facility fight back on Utevo a few years ago. Maybe that fight has been long since fixed but given how scarred I am from it I don't fancy going back on a new character to find out, but my gripes about that fight and the train boss rush are rants for another thread.

CoC2 in my opinion handily solved stunlocking with their system granting anyone player or NPC stun immunity for several turns to prevent stunlocking entirely, this also has the benefit of allowing lesser status effects to shine. I mean why would I bother blinding, tripping or disarming someone if I can just stun them? Speaking of Disarming I'm going to make a thread right after this as that's the second status effect that 'urks me and needs polishing.

Another option would be something like FFXIV did with stuns, on the first stun it hits for full duration, each time after it halves from full to half, to quarter and finally rendering the target fully immune to stuns for a full minute. This allows you to use stuns to interrupt enemies without making them trivial to fight or allowing them to do the same to you.

An implementation like either of these would be a breath of fresh air, because as it stands I have no qualms about using cheats during these fights because I don't feel like I'm in a fair fight to begin with. I'm here for the challenge I want to earn my victories but when I'm stunlocked out of them with nothing I can do to avoid them? I'm just not gonna accept that as anything coming close to fair in my eyes. There has to be and is a better way to handle stuns and avoid stunlocking and TiTS desperately needs it.
