Out of curiosity, I opened up and edited a save file using notepad. At the bottom, I noticed a value called "hash":"[hash value]". I was wondering what method is used to generate the hash, and how I could generate a hash for an edited save file. CoC2 warns you upon opening one that an edited save file may not work right, and so I was wondering how to generate a new hash the makes everything check out. If discussing hacking of save files is a big taboo, please tell me so!

Well it'd be going around something I implemented so when people fuck up their saves editing them they don't waste their or my time trying to resolve it, so I'm going to say not allowed.
