Help Regarding my Character's Name

I'm sorry if I didn't go through the proper channels for this, and I have a feeling my question has been answered, but I've tried searching "name" in the forums and it won't go through due to "name" being too short and/or common a word.

As to my problem though, I changed my Steele's gender a while back, but I still have my beginning name. I'd like to change their first name but I don't know how, or if it's even possible. If someone could provide a solution or explanation as to why I can't (I'm assuming it has something to do with my save files) it would be much appreciated.

There's currently no way to change your character's name within the game. That and your class choices are about the only things you can't.

That said, you can (I assume, anyway) change it via save editing.

Savin is correct, you can change it via save editing. You could use a program called .minerva to modify the files directly, but the editor here is much more user friendly and less likely to break your save file.
