Does Accuracy Increase Crit Chance?

I was looking through the document on combat formulas. From what I understood, it's d100+Attack-Defence, with results of 100+ being a Critical hit, on the initial attack?

If so, then Accuracy will directly increase Crit Chance. So if the total modifier from Attack and Defence is +5, that would mean a range from 6 to 105, giving you a 6% chance of a crit.

I wanted to ask if this is how it works, and if it was intentional. I rather like the design idea, myself.

Correct.

There's also a secondary "CritChance" stat that gives a chance to convert normal hits to critical hits. It's mostly found on light weapons like Daggers and such.
