Does a guide for this thing exist?  Messing around with a new character and I can not be bothered to sit here randomly clicking every button until it solves itself, again.

Never had a problem with it. General rule - move from left to right, disabling leftmost active button.

Click the buttons in the second row from the left.  Repeat until there are no more buttons on the left.  It's incredibly easy.

8 turns if straigntforward, 6 turns with little optimization.

On the good news: While this is a necro-post, I have no issue explaining it to you:
Hitting a button turns the state of all the ones around it, too. You want them to either be all off or all on. They give different scenes for the bomb then.
