Premise:

Your are a hero of the kingdom of Gataia, a land of proud warriors. For a decade you have been across the seas fighting the Ecrutians, a war started from when your king, Mecalces, lost his son at sea, and heard rumors he had been captured by pirates and sold as a slave to the Ecrutians, who Gataia had been rivals with for hundreds of years.

Whether these rumors were true did not matter-he led his people into this war anyway. Over this long decade, thousands of brave souls have been consumed in the flames of battle, and while the Ecrutian capital fell, the son could not be found and the king died soon after.

In the carnage after the siege, many terrible things happened; whether or not you participated, the guilt still carries with you as you head back to your homeland with your fellow soldiers, heavier than the king’s crown.

However, as you near your home’s shores, you will face trials anew, as over the years, much has changed…

Corrupted Kingdom is a Bronze Age Roleplay using D&D rules and featuring powerful heroes and terrible threats. In this game, you will be playing as a hero returning from a terrible war to their home kingdom, only to discover it has been corrupted by foul demons. Your heroes will have both their mind and body tested as they try to deal with both the catastrophe that has struck their home and the trauma of war.

Basic Rules:
-All characaters start out as variant humans.
-To determine your character’s starting ability scores, roll 5d6 and drop the two lowest.
-You may choose any class you want.
-Your character starts at level 8 and has two rare magic items of their choice.
-To make things easier, you don’t have to worry about initiative, carrying capacity, or ammo, as it just bogs things down.
-You will not have to post your character sheet here, but will still need to fill out the submission form with the appropriate information.
