Continuing their path, Jibril and Karin following the directions of Shimbala and Tar'lak, they see some bear traps that have caught a few rabbits within them. Taking out her scimitar, she impales the rabbits and cuts off their feet to remove them from the bear traps, Jibril teaches Karin how to reset them by testing the sensitive pressure plate by triggering it with a stick.

"Why would we used something like this on small animals?" Karin asked.
"They're not for them, they're for trespassing and maiming larger prey. These rabbits just happen to catch themselves on a bad day to be out and about" Jibril says, tying up three rabbits and handing them to Karin to carry for them.

Not a bad way to start the day with this many fresh kills. The two talked about life in Heifong before things went south. What does Jibril want to know?

"We met when mom was going out to sea with Red Fang's crew, the harbor was full of kids saying goodbye to their parents. Fishing and piracy runs in our blood about as much as living on the streets. Mom met my dad there and got together with the guys from the Corsairs a while ago. Kor'da was a fisherman before he saved up enough coin to buy them a place in Pig-Sty Alley. Kak'lin and Sim'one always played around with the fish and then me and my friends were picking pockets, usual street urchin stuff. Wish I had known them before we stole from Kor'da's stall one day and chased me down. Every now and again I would just lift some items people leave out to fence off to help mom out with rent and put food on the table. Didn't know the two boys were his kids and we just sorta hit it off stealing things. It was fun until we tried stealing a shipment of trout and crabs that Kor'da brought in that got all of us in trouble." Karin tells her, "He was so mad but took pity on me and let us have two trouts and walked away. Kak'lin always came looking for me by the fountain every day so we could play. He's very sweet but he's very gullible. I felt bad I took advantage of him when we used him as bait to steal the food from his dad. After Dunwich, not sure where we stand or if he thinks we're still friends after what I put them through. I know the kids didn't. Stopped hearing from them."

She sighs as they cross over a few more traps, Jibril checks them: nothing and resets them.

"I know that Sim'one was always fond of mind games, loves puzzles. We had a puzzle cube that had candy inside it we use to get from old man Winkle. Sim'one spent days figuring it out until he got it open and tasted chocolate for the first time. Hehehehe, he hated it! But he always got another cube just to solve it and gave the chocolate to Kak'lin who was really bad at the puzzles but lives the candy. It used to be our thing if we had a pewter or two between us. Kak'lin was more curious than he let's on. Likes to swim too, he'd jump into the ocean and swim miles with me up and down the coast when it got too hot. I never learned how to swim until he showed me how, it was natural to him."

Karin leans up against a tree as Jibril strains to reset a snare trap with a hemp rope not getting on the tensioner just right.

"He would have made a great pirate"

"Jibril you don't have to worry about kak'lin he still think of you as a friend still just try not to trick him at some point you gonna have to relied on someone once you can't do something on your own also once we get to new canaan city am gonna convince kor'dar to let you and your mom to live with us since your mom was really a big help when we got into a dangerous predicament also hear this when i was spending time with kak'lin i asked him if he has a crush on someone.she tease karin telling her that kak'lin wasn't into me and that shocked i thought when kid's at that age usually say when they grow up they will marry their mother i mean look at me i think am pretty attractive don't you think

Jibril sets the trap and exhales slowly then plants her hands on her hips turning her body towards Karin.

"You don't have to worry about kak'lin, he still think of you as a friend still. Just try not to trick him" Jibril lectures, "At some point you're gonna have to rely on someone someday you can't do something on your own."

Karin and Jibril continue further and check the traps marked with red scarfs and sashes out in the distance. They find more rabbits and a wild pig squealing as it was skewered between two spike boards. Jibril slits the pig's throat and watched it bleed and does the same for the two rabbits in the deadfalls. Tying more rabbits to Karin's bundle they stop to rest while they finish talking and wait for Tar'lak to catch up with them. Hopefully he can come and claim this pig and reset this trap, it's very complicated.

"Once we get to new canaan I wanna try convincing Kor'da to let you and your mom live with us since your mom was really a big help when we got into a dangerous predicament."

Upon hearing this, Karin was delighted to hear that: "Really?! Do you have a really really big house!?"

Jibril gestures her to calm herself: "Soon enough, we haven't settled on where we want yet until we get there. But suffice to say that we're going to build our own and I will need all the help I can get settling in. At least until you and Karlya find your own home."

Then seeing Karin's delightful smile and raised spirits of having a new home, Jibril becomes mischievous and teases her a little more. Acting the role of seductress once again, hoping the flustered and bashfulness runs in the family. With a chesire like smile drawn across her face, Jibril leans into Karin.

"And while I'm at it, when i was spending time with Kak'lin, i asked him if he has a crush on someone." Jibril giggles, "I was a bit embarrassed when he didn't say he was in love with me!" Jibril holds the sides of her face, finger draping over her eyes and nose like a shy bride being asked to answer a proposal.

"Alas, he wasn't into me and that was shocking. I always assumed kids at that age usually say when they grow up they want to marry their momma. I mean look at me, don't you think I'm pretty attractive?" Jibril says giving Karin a little pouty face.

Karin blushes as Jibril waves her stunning bust and toned figure in her face. With a heaving bust wrapped with her bloody arms to add more to their display. Karin blushes harder with roses in her creamy caramel cheeks, she begins scratching her rosy cheeks at the thought of Kak'lin liking her.

"You really think he likes me?"

"I think we have enough for everyone back at camp" Karin informed Jibril, changing the subject.

There's shuffling in the bushes, the two draw their swords and brace for a fight. Tar'lak strolls up to them with his spear and greets them. "No need to be alarmed, it's just me"

"Oh. It's just you" Jibril says putting her sword away and Karin as well. "Found a wild pig out here but I can't get it out of the trap."

Tar'lak walks over to the trap, taps the side of the wooden joints with the bottom of his spear. The lip of the trap breaks apart and the two boards remain together with the now dead pig still stuck in between them like a sandwich. He pulls off the boards and peeling the spikes out with noisy gushing and bone fragments spilling out of the open wounds. The boards come free and they leave the trap dismantled and take the pig back to camp over Tar'lak's shoulder.

"We did good, this should last us a day or two if we use the meat sparingly." Tar'lak grunts approvingly, "Should head back"

Karin carried the five dead rabbits in her bundle, Tar'lak carries the slaughtered pig over his shoulders, Jibril cleans off her arms and hands with a rag that Tar'lak gave her. They trek the road back to camp with their prey with a bit of relaxing time since today is starting off on the right foot for a change. Their bellies were full, everyone is excited to get this caravan back on the road but upon their return it seems Draco called everyone around to gather at the cartography table where a map of the region was made.

The trio spot the crowd and lay their kills on the table with Marcon who took over cooking with Karlya while they listened to the meeting. Jibril and Tar'lak were notably worried something had happened.

"All right, is everyone here?" Everyone checks and Draco nods when no one spoke up. "Good. It appears our trip to New Canaan is delayed due to reports of bandit activity in Shurifon territory. We've received word from the capital to remain vigilant and alerted to the new threat. We'll be staying here tonight for another day while Command gives us further orders and investigate the source of these reports. Tomorrow, we'll be taking a detour towards Shurifon's capital to resupply and sell off any trade goods we have. Any refugees need to check in with the Canaanites if they're getting off the roster and departing from the caravan. We'll give you a day's ration and pewter coins to send you along your way. Command demands that refugees not assigned to the caravan be dismissed as there's a overpopulation issue at Scarlet Rose. New Canaan will not be accepting new residents until such a time that be deemed necessary to open up our borders."

Oh God ... no

Draco turned to Jibril as does everyone else. When she addressed the question, there were mutterings of anxiety and desperation. "Unfortunately, I do not know why the council has ordered the military to close the borders. I don't know why we're not accepting new residents, but that doesn't mean we will abandon you! We will help all of you make it to Shurifon and halfway to New Canaan. After that, we will lend whatever aid we can give. It isn't much but that is how it is, I'm sorry if you had your hopes set on staying. I wish it wasn't the case but those are our orders for the time being."

Draco dismisses the meeting after answering a few questions about relief and those wishing to depart from the caravan. This isn't good. Scarlet Rose was their only hope, if New Canaan closed Scarlet Rose to outsiders and refugees where does that leave Jibril's family? What of Karlya and Karin?

Nothing seems to last long, doesn't it?

The Slaven-Claw family gathered around Jibril as the meeting has been dismissed, they watched as all of the refugees have been distraught by the news of New Canaan closing its borders to foreigners. All these people have lost their second chance, any hope of starting over after the fall of Heifong rest front and center of their minds, families are huddling together trying to figure out their next moves. Should they stay with the caravan until reaching New Canaan's borders and try their luck going to the Unowa village or try making it to the Dradini and Dradinae villages across Lake Mare? What are their options to do in this situation, these are the concerns Jibril and Tar'lak hear as the refugees are clamoring for some thread of hope. Mothers are weeping as do their children who cling to them for comfort as fathers scratch their heads trying to make heads or tails of the situation. Something has to be done. Karlya and Karin approached the Slaven-Claws with Jimmy tagging along with Red-Eye finally up and moving again. The nine people closest to the group share their thoughts on the situation but it goes nowhere quickly as all other others mean finding somewhere inhospitable like Helm's Deep which is like Heifong only smaller and more wild, but it is the only coastal town closest to New Canaan nestled between Shurifon's capital and nearest to the Shadow Coves, a region that connects to the Blackgate, a prison fortress built by the Canaanites to house criminals and mages alike. Something Jimmy and Karlya overheard from one of the Juggernauts and collaborated with a few refugees who actually been to New Canaan. With all this talk of new plans there are some considerations that they have all overlooked: Jibril is a hired surveyor for the Canaanites.

If anything, Jibril has the most to gain from this endeavor as she is considered one of them by contractual obligations and Tar'lak is required to be there to settle a deal with Kane to negotiate terms of diplomacy from the Ashen clan. As long as the group claims to be "guests" of the two members of the party, they could try and squeeze through the borders and try to blend into the city as "citizens" or try figuring out if the council or perhaps Kane would allow them to stay there by signing up as members of the Survey Corp.

How ever this plays out, a decision must be made and soon: The caravan has a single day to regroup and collect their wits while the news is still fresh in their minds. Once the caravan packs up does everyone need to decide where they stand.

Kor'da: This is madness. We didn't come all this way to be dragged down by the Canaanites and their council! We have every right to walk through those gates after everything we went through."
Jimmy: "Speak for yourself, big guy. You and Jibril have been changed by this whole thing, i mean looking at you two, whatever you two did to get to the way your are now, i'm thinking you guys gave up something in return. If i didn't know any better, you guys made a deal to get into the capital to. If it was worth selling your souls or bodies or whatever, I wanna get in just as badly but i ain't giving up nothing as badly as you guys seem to."
Karlya: "Can it, Jimmy, you and the Corsairs weren't doing so hot yourselves. When was the last time you had a home? Look around you, we're all hurtin' and this was not something to joke about. Whatever these two did has nothing to do with getting to Scarlet Rose."
Tar'lak: "Can we focus on the problem at hand? Clawing at each other isn't helping. If the dragonborn is correct, then it seems to me our option is to sneak in and pretend we belong there. Find a good forger would be our best bet at getting papers and proof of citizenship."
Jimmy: "Oh yeah? Do you know of any forgers in New Canaan? Besides, they work a lot differently than the two empires and they're big on the bureaucracy, lots of red tape and rules. There's no way we're gonna last very long if we try to blend in, plus we have no idea what's even going on there that caused them to shutdown the borders. For all we know, they could be in a civil war or something just like Heifong."
Karlya: "Then what do you suggest, Jimmy? We stand around and camp outside where we'd be raided day in and day out? I've got a daughter to take care and, for that matter, no coin! We're all stuck out here with no money and no food, once we leave the caravan, we're all on our own. I don't got the land-legs to be camppin' all my life. If we can't settle on land, I say we steal ourselves a ship and take to the seas."
Kor'da: "Great idea if you preferred the seas. No everyone is as eager to jump ship and sail the seas forever moving towards the sunset."
Jimmy: "But she does have a point"
Karlya: "I do?"
Jimmy: "Yeah, we could try finding an island or another continent to live on. You've seen part of the world with Red Fang, right? I know Fluter's Isle is death trap but there are small islands we could settle down on and make it livable."
Karlya: "I like the sound of that, actually, but we'd need supplies if we down settle on a island."
Kor'da: "Then you three can settle on an island, my family will try our best settling here on land, at least here we have supplies and plenty of people to do labor and where the work is always stable enough to make some coin legally."
Jimmy: "He's right, it's a terrible idea, we'd have to become pirates to get what we need and a merchant ship to come through to keep the island supllied. No way we can pull it off with the pirate lords fleeing the country to seek shelter elsewhere by now. Not to mention the Shurifon Navy is probably looking for all of us."
Kor'da: "Tzu Vang was an honorable man, Admiral Zhao will probably put a bounty on anyone here for his death"

Everyone is bummed out by the lack of prospects. All their ideas so far have trouble making traction. Everyone except Red-Eye who has been unusually quiet this entire time just listening in to their conversation, Tar'lak prods him.

Tar'lak: What do you think Red-Eye, any bright ideas?"
Red-Eye: "What, me?"
Jimmy: "Yeah, what about Red-Eye? He's a Canaanite! You got anything we can use to get in?"
Red-Eye: "Uh"
Karlya: "Yeah. dandy man, you probably know the city better than any of us. Think you can help us get in?"
Red-Eye: "I, uh, shit, I don't know!I ain't exactly a tour guide here!"
Kor'da: "Doubtful, Marlo isn't very well liked by his brethren as it seems"
Red-Eye: "This guy gets it, I don't really knwo anything that can help you guys out. I just live there"
Karlya: "Then what bloody use are you?"
Jimmy: "Yeah man, we're facing a crisis and you're over here just listening and not helping!"
Tar'lak: "Can you two knock it off? If i wanted to stay there, i wouldn't be associating myself with either of you"
Jimmy: "The hells that suppose to mean?"
Tar'lak: "Do you people not see yourselves?"

They do and they looked like refugees and some of them are outlaws and former criminals.

Tar'lak: Even if we get to Scarlet Rose, we'd stick out like thumbs in swamp muck. All of your use to be hired thugs, pickpockets, pirates and extortionists. If the militia there catch wind of your pasts, you'd be serving time in hard labor."
Jimmy: "The hell do you know"
Tar'lak: "The Kalisa woman has a big mouth. Criminals serve a high penalty in Blackgate, i for one do not want to be a prisoner there and i can only assume neither do any of you. We either buy our way in or solve the issue amicably"
Kor'da: "Amicably, you say?"
Tar'lak: "Was it something i said?"
Kor'da: "If we knew what was happening in New Canaan, we could perhaps try to resolve it ourselves. Earn our place with the leaders and secure ourselves as citizens. If Kane or the council find us useful to them, I'm sure we could come up with a sort of deal"
Jimmy: "You mean, work for them?"
Karlya: "That's nice and all but how does that include all of us? We have kids here not to mention we have no equipment nor gear that's not including the problem of coin to spare"
Kor'da: "I'm aware but if we took the aid the caravaneers are offering and split up the coin we get, we could purchase some gear."
Karlya: "Split up the take, that'd be swell if we knew how much"
Red-Eye: "You're gonna find out that everything in Scarlet is pricy and excellent quality goods. If ya'll were to get some coin to spend, you could gear up in Shurifon and try your luck sorting out the problem."
Jibril: "IS there a way we could help our selves out of this mess, Red?"

Red-Eye hesitates but thinking about how Jibril and Karlya helped him when no one else did, he relents.

Red-Eye: "Technically speaking, the borders are closed to refugees and runaway slaves trying to find a place. It doesn't actually mean mercenaries like myself and others from finding work in the city. In fact, they pay really well for the kind of work they need."
Karlya: "How much are we talking?"
Red-Eye: "A Petwer coin per hour of the day for regular labor, a Silver coin for complicated work, if you got the skills like Draco or Shimbala's crew, you could be seeing a Gold coin plus extra if you work for the government. Soldiers and the militia get paid big time because there's so few of them versus the Shurifon guards but they make up for it in really good gear and plenty of side benefits like free booze and plenty of space in the barracks. It ain't glamorous but I got three square meals a day and a warm cot plus a bath for enlisting."
Karlya: "Seriously? You sound like a recruiter"
Red-Eye: "Hey you asked, I'm just giving you the options. New Canaan is always looking for people to do the jobs they need and nothing says you can't stay in the hotels and inns there until the borders open up again or they start letting people get citizenship to live there. But if you did that, you could burn a lot of coin staying there"
Kor'da: "What about merchants and business people?"
Red-Eye: "Well, yeah, they need merchants too ... considering we sorta killed most of them recently"
All: "What?!"
Red-Eye: "Yeah, there's been a coup there. Not suppose to talk about it and all but there was some stuff that went down and that may or may not be the problem"
Jimmy: "Great"
Karlya: "A bloody coup"
Tar'lak: "More surface-dweller problems"
Kor'da: "Regardless, we have an opportunity here to make ourselves useful. I say we take our chances in getting work there until we have enough to live off and then try our luck getting our homes."
Karlya: "It's better than what i had in mind"
Jimmy: "I guess it could be worse, maybe they have need of my skills"
Karlya: "Thievery isn't a skill, Jimmy"
Jimmy: "Hey! I use to run a gambling den before all this happened, who know if they even have one there. I hear the Scarlet District has space for one and if i get the coin to open one there, then i can live there without a problem."
Kor'da: "My family plan to do the same as well for our pawn shop"
Jimmy: "That's what i'm saying! We have the skills and grit to make this work, we open our businesses and live out of them"
Red-Eye: "That requires you to have a citizenship"
Kor'da and Jimmy look to Red-Eye: "Why?"
Red-Eye: "Because everyone thought that way too, got too crowded and the council passed a law requiring it."
Jimmy: "Fuck!"
Kor'da: "Seems like working odd jobs is our only chance, we'll have to tighten up our belts to stay there for the time being"
Karlya: "This isn't what i signed on for. First chance i get, i'm going to find work with the thieves guild"
Jimmy: "Good luck with that"
Karlya: "Better than begging on the streets and working a job all me life that i despise. I'd be making more than either of you if it were just meself stealing the goods!"
Jimmy: "How's that working out for you now?"
Karlya: "Watch it, pintsize!"

Jibril is pushing herself to settle this debacle once and for all. She explodes with "ENOUGH!!"
Everyone shuts up as she begins her tirade.
Jibril focused on Red-Eye: "Do you mind training Karlya in other forms of magic? If so, it could help her find more jobs if they even have a need for mages."
Jibril looks to Karlya shaking her head and planting her hands on her curvy hips: "Karlya, you don't have to worried about finding a home for you and your daughter. You two will be staying with us, for what you did for me-"
Jibril directed her aggression toward Kor'da: "Yes, Kor'da! She will be staying with us! Don't you forget, she helped save the kids not once but twice when they were in danger."

Everyone looked at the two of them staring off at each other, Karlya and Kor'da crossing their arms and looking away in resentment. "Whatever hatreds you two have for each other, that bad blood end's here! And that would be what's left behind in that forsaken city, got it!?"
Karlya: "Fine"
Kor'da: "To be fair, I'm more upset about the thievery and the kind of life you had making your daughter grow up alone without you while away at sea."
Jibril shouts at him: "KOR'DA!!"
Kor'da, groans: "Fine. Bygones be bygones"
Karlya extends her hand out in good faith: "For the sake of the kids, then?"
Kor'da begrudgingly accepts: "So long as we have that understanding, yes"

Jibril turns to Jimmy: "Jimmy i may have someone connected to the Thieves Guild in Daedran's Wraith, if we find him, your skills could be useful to them" She directs her thoughts to the relic they're transporting in secret. "Once i drop off this relic for my employer, i'll help you find them."

Directing her attention to the whole group: "After that I'll find out what's with the whole deal with the city not allowing the refugee, okay? Can we agree with that idea?"
Everyone nods in agreement. "Good, now put this arguing to rest" Everyone dismisses themselves from this short meeting and she sighs from the venting of her frustration.

It occurs to Jibril that retrieving the temporary gun that Shimbala gave her will be very much impossible. If she recalled, Kane ended up whisking it away when Tar'lak confronted her in the woods and made some pretty serious accusations against her. If she goes back to Shimbala empty handed, there will be choice words to be heard from her considering how extremely rare such a thing is in this world and with it missing or gone, this will not end very well without it with her.

Karin gives Jibril back her sword: "Thanks, i had fun talking with you!"
Karlya walks away with Karin, Karin waves to Jibril goodbye until they meet again.
Then something occurred to Jibril as she was waving at Karin.

How did Kane steal back the pistol!? Again, he snatched up Red-Eye's bottomless flask from Kor'da the moment she regained consciousness! That sneaky trickster!!
If Kane could have taken the Relic off her hands so easily, as all those times, she wouldn't be lugging this bloody thing all over the place! Or is it only magical objects or objects created by other gods? He did try to take it from her before but why is he able to grab the other items? What is it about this Orb that fascinates him so much to risk her life over it? How does it help him with necromancy? This whole deal with Kane has soured in her mouth. This was too much trouble and not worth the effort she went through to get it for him. That backstabbing trickster even had the gall to make a deal with Kor'da behind her back and does it in front of her! She has half a mind to break this damn thing, but she remembers that her life ends if she breaks a blood oath so she doesn't try it like she did with the Marker.

The Marker, it was because of it falling out of Mellow's pocket and Kor'da picking it up that started her on this path of obligation and torment. What she wouldn't give to have never set eyes on that stupid thing in the first place. Maybe then Kor'da and Jibril could have made it without interference from the Dark God of Fertility sticking his nose into her affairs as much as he has. One thing is fort certain, she does need to speak with Kor'da maybe she has some thoughts she would like to share about this.

Jibril follows Kor'da and the boys to a private spot away from the rest of their party to confront him about earlier during breakfast when she saw him doing the dishes. She was too proud of the fact that Karlya beat him up and threatened him for his accusations, she never did get to hear what he had to say. Kor'da tells the boys to go occupy themselves while the two of them spoke privately about what happened yesterday and this morning. Jibril was on the defensive with her pose hinting that as she awaited Kor'da to speak to her. "Was hoping we could talk about yesterday"
Jibril: "I'm listening"
Kor'da: "I overstepped my bounds. I'm not thinking very clearly with everything going on with this relic of yours and how many life threatening situations we find ourselves in."
Jibril: "And your first thought was making a deal to protect me and the boys but you won't tell either of us anything about this secret of yours"
Kor'da: "My intentions were pure"
Jibril: "I know. But you blamed me for putting us in danger when it was far from the truth, I've been saving us from these things attacking us. You really got under my scales when you accused me when you're the one selling your soul of divine protection to a trickster god!"
Kor'da: "Did you not do the same?"
"What? No!" Jibril answered, "I didn't even sell my soul ... is ... is that what you think i did?!"

Kor'da is wide-eyed when Jibril tells him this. He's speechless. Jibril realized that he did think she'd sell her soul, hands go up to her mouth shocked.

Jibril: "No"
Kor'da: "Jibril"
Jibril: "No!"
Kor'da: "I did it for you!"
"You idiot!" Jibril slams her fists on his chest furiously, "I didn't sell my soul! I stole that relic and he gave me his powers to safeguard it back to New Canaan!"
Kor'da: "Is that why-"
"Yes, you big dumb idiot!" Jibril throws up her hands, she whips around and shakes her head. "I risked my life to save yours and you threw it away trying to save mine when it was pointless."

"I think sex has been off the table for a while now, with all things considered" Kor'da says, defeated. "And with this new body, i don't know how that will work out anyway. My deal was divine protection for you and the boys as well as removing your obligation to Kane. Admittedly, Kane declined to releasing you as it would defeat the purpose of your vow you made to him. He explained to me in private that breaking a vow will end your life if it is broken, especially one to him. I thought this vow was you obeying his command as his thrall, serving him for saving me from certain death after selling your soul. But now that we know the truth of the matter, it is hard to say where that leaves us. Selling your soul now will only make matters worse for us and wouldn't help you or me. But it does mean that Kane is willing to give us something of value in return for deals instead of our souls. You clearly proven that point. Maybe we can strike a new deal to regain my soul from him? perform another task?"

Jibril takes out the Marker from her small pouch along her toolbelt and tries to summon Kane using the totem as her conduit. The Marker glows when she whispers to it: "Umbra, i summon you to me" then suddenly Jibril hears a voice speak directly into her ear: "You rang?"

Jibril springs back recoiling from the shockingly quick response. Kane stood between Jibril and Kor'da. Kor'da was shocked to see Kane appear in broad daylight in front of the whole caravan. Jibril points to Kane then Kor'da stumbling on her words before settling on: "How did you- nevermind! Are we safe talking to you?"

Kane looks around and leans himself up against Kor'da using him as a standing post: "Only you two can see me, and Tar'lak ... and maybe the other Canaanites but i am very doubtful of that." He chuckled, "So you two are looking to do another deal?"

Jibril nods her head begrudgingly: "Yes, you have his Life Essence. We know you planned this so there must be another way of getting his soul back from you"
"You are really asking a lot from me" Kane continues to grin, never stopping given the direness of the situation. "One soul does not equal another and all sales are finally"
"There's always a better deal for trade" Jibril answered, "You want something else, we'll grab it for you. Whatever you want!"
"Oh, is that what you were hoping for?" Kane giggled, "I think you'll find that the relic you have is one of the only articles i desire for the time being. But if you're really interested in reclaiming Kor'da soul ... I do have an offer that will guarantee plenty of Life and Blood Essence to feed my hunger. In return, you two will have and keep your souls."

Kane smiles widely showing his rows of sharp teeth and the scarlet red eyes shine to the sunlight. "I see someone has been paying attention"
Jibril: "You want my body, don't you"
Kane crooks his chest towards her and gives her a flat: "Nope!"

What? Then what could he possibly want that she has to offer him?!

Kane turns his head to Kor'da and he rubs his hand against Kor'da's chest and feeling the metallic scales.
"What i have in mind is much more sinister" Kane answered, "If you haven't noticed, I'm a Dark God of Fertility and you two have been such a good help in fulfilling some of my trials and deals but really i could use a little something more than that."

Kane vanishes and reappears beside Jibril and presses his cheek against her as they stare at Kor'da.

"You were just saying how sex was off the table, weren't you? That the only thing that could get him off was to either use his hand ... or ..."

"I was thinking ..." Kane says, turning her face to face him. "Something else entirely."
Vanishing again and reappearing beside Kor'da and taps him on the chest with a fist.
"Kor'da is my first recreation of my species. If God could create Adam and Eve, as do many creator gods where i'm from" Kane explains, "Then why shouldn't i be the harbinger of my species? Marking the beginning of a new age where I am no longer the last of my kind. So I'm thinking if you truly desire his soul to return to him and return both of you back to normal without further complications. Something must be done about this idea of mine."

Kane steps forward in between them. "I want Kor'da to impregnate Karlya. I want his seed to fill her womb with the new generation of my species. And then i want you to watch him when he does it. You can't have anything to do with him when he fertilizes her womb, all you must do is endure the act itself as it plays before you. An easy and simple deal. Perfect for everyone involved ... except the human who will unfortunately be raped by her breeder with her friend helpless to stop them."

"Jibril sorry but that's not up to me that's for karlya to decide and am not gonna force her or guilt trip her into doing this for me
