CoC: Unofficially Expanded Edition (v1.4.19 for CoC 1.0.2)

[Zombvee]

having such a great time thanks for no help

First off, there's no need to be disrespectful. Not everyone conforms to your schedule and looking at past posts would show you it can take a while to get a response.

Secondly, as Fenoxo stated in a site post last month, most modern browsers have been cutting back on support for Adobe Flash, which is what this mod is made in and runs through. Refer to the post here: https://www.fenoxo.com/difficulties-running-the-game/ for more info and a download link for a standalone version of the Adobe flash player.

Once you've got that, you'll have to configure Windows (which I assume you're operating, you didn't specify), to use that standalone .exe to run the mod. That should get it working.

As an aside, I have no idea what "drag into browser tabs" means either. This is just how I got it working for me.

[ShySquare]

would love to know wtf drag file in browser tab means

First off, to answer your question, it simply means you have to open the file with your browser (so Firefox for you, apparently). And some browsers allow you to open a file by dragging it into open tabs.

Drag (drăg)
v. dragged, drag·ging, drags
v. tr.
3. Computers
a. To move (a pointing device, such as a mouse) while pressing down on one of its buttons.
b. To move (an element of a graphical display) on a computer screen using a pointing device.

That's it.

Second of all, Google is your friend. You could use it if you see people aren't answering your questions before having a nervous breakdown on a public forum thread.

Third of all, could you maybe chill? And maybe try being more polite when you ask a question and be patient? This is a forum, not a Q&A. How entitled do you have to be, to expect everyone to stop what they are doing to answer your question (that looks like troll bait, btw) ? Especially when forum users aren't in the same timezone and as such are active at different times than you.

Fourth, currently most browsers have trouble running .sfw files because they're stopping flash support (Firefox included), so you might want to download the standalone flash projector here and use it to open the game if you still can't run it with your computer.

EDIT: damn, ninja'ed again. But yeah, what Zombvee said.

[SIRWOLFFE]

So I now have it running on the stand alone player. Thank you.

I am doing game setup. I am in options. What is survival and realistic? What do they do currently?

Is low standards buggy or can I safely use it?

[ShySquare]

What is survival and realistic? Why do they do currently?

They are difficulty settings that add the need for the PC to eat and drink, and probably other things, but I never use them, so idk what they do apart from that.
EDIT: here's the mod's wiki page on game modes

Is low standards buggy or can I safely use it?

Low standards only means that you don't need to meet an NPC's physical requirements to bang them, only the right genitals, so yeah, it's pretty safe; that said, I think some scenes don't take that into account, so even if you can access the sex scenes, the NPC may, for example, call you a good girl even if your PC is masculine (because their scenes originally require the PC to be feminine). (It may have changed since the last time I played with Low Standards on, though).

Hello.

Excuse me for interupting the conversation, but I was wondering if I could please ask about Visually impared accessibility in this mod? As I explained Here in this thread about Trials in tainted space I am the admin of www.audiogames.net, a site which promotes accessibility to visually impared gamers who play using screen reading programs.

The original CoC is very accessible indeed, and people were fascinated at such a major remod of the game.
However, the problem is that the mod seems to change a lot of the initial textual choices found in the classic CoC game to buttons which do not appear to be labeled (or at least not in a way a screen reader can read).

it is a very similar problem to many of the buttons in Trials in tainted space.

I was therefore wondering if perhaps either adding labels, or some alternative display method for textual labels (enabled from settings), might be considered, so that the revamp mod is as accessible as the original game is.
Indeed, I am a little confused as to why the choices are not reading correctly since I assume the text is still there.

either way, any fixes to this would be much appreciated, and if developers of the mod would like to discuss matters further, we'd be happy to welcome any discussions over on the forums on www.audiogames.net

Thanks for your time.

All the best,

Dark, audiogames.net admin.

Not quite sure how to address this. Talked to a friend of mine who is visually impaired and he said that flash tend to just be an annoying block with JAWS. A box pops up when hovering over the buttons though saying what they do is the screen reader not able to catch that?

[Nyseron]

Newer versions load very, very slowly on SWF Player Pro for Android.

[tredur]

Can you work out something for taurs about genitals placement hind or front or both?
Like when equip with genitals on the hind a taur scene, front normal scene and with both we could choose

[Wardogs667]

So i recently found this mod on another website that has it embeded (and it's strange that i can't play the downloaded version) i just hit level ten and it isn't giving me the option to level up anymore? does anyone know why this might be the case?

Edit: apparently my eyes failed me...... turns out i'm about 11 short of leveling.

[Darkempathy]

@melchi thanks for having a look at this.
Usually it is true flash is problematic with screen readers and most flash games are completely inaccessible, however, because coC in it's original form has fully working text, it plays fine provided you run it in a browser. Oddly enough the controls don't show up as actual buttons, but they do show up as labels one can click on which is certainly good enough to play. Perhaps this is due to the fact that original coC doesn't use mouseovers for labels where as Trials in Tainted space and CoC revamp do? Mouseovers are usually fine in most browsers, but they don't seem to be working in flash (or at least I've tried all the methods for reading mouseover text and am not getting anything).

The problem in the revamp mod is that all of the controls are unreadable, they are just announced as ""button" which obviously isn't handy if you want to know what your choosing.

ironically, Trials in tainted space a similar problem, since there some of the buttons, eg the new game button read okay, however others (i'm not sure which they are since I can't read them, but ones towards the top of the display for a start), do not.

I am guessing it's something to do with the attributes of the control, and likely would be a relatively simple fix, especially since it appears to be some sort of change that has occurred between the two versions of CoC.
if you want to test yourself, you can try out the free open source screen reader nvda:
https://www.nvaccess.org/

this is used by a lot of Vi computer users indeed Jaws is only one of several screen readers (and a very expensive one at that), so should give an idea of the problem if you compare running original CoC as compared to the revamp mod, or indeed trials in tainted space.

The tube top and short shorts at the Tailor's should have slutty seduction.

[ouros]

Can someone tell me how to trigger the breakfest scene with Anzu?

[SIRWOLFFE]

Lumi's workshop.... Is it still found by doing explore twice? I have tried to get to it about 200 times. I looked in coved for a flag and I found line for "lumi - has met", but it is unmarked. I tried rebooting too.
Random encounters seem to be weighted to non important mod filler in forest, desert, and explore/explore. Need to be able to find named npcs......

[Neon777]

I found a enable watersports option in the gameplay section but have yet to encounter any watersports related things are there any implemented yet and how to encounter them?

I think there was one (possibly two) scenes. Not sure where to find it/them though. Behemoth maybe?

[Kharn]

I only know of the one from swimming in the river.

[marsup]

Is the Tamani content still being worked on? It looks like its been abandonned due to issues with the writers but at the same time seems to imply it is still being worked on.

[sor]

NOOOOOOOOO please for the love of GOD not Tamani content please save IT!!!

I thought I had a same problem but really I found her once and didn't notice. Once you met her, Lumi's Workshop is a in Places menu.

The ones I know of is one where you go to the bar for the first time, select Urta, and then select drink, after that there's a scene with you in the alley taking a piss, the second one is with the behometh where you piss in a barrel or something. No clue if there's anymore piss scenes but more would be nice.

I tried browsing the posts in this thread and there are too many. I can't find my saves to file in IE browser. At least, the game works. I also tried to play in Chrome, but, the .swf file just tries to download itself. What else can I do to play the game and keep my saves? I use Windows 10. My other choices are to use a program in Windows store.

We really need this issue noted in the OP.

https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/28/flashplayer_28_sa.exe use that to run flash games, including CoC and any mod/derivative of CoC. Flash is no longer supported by browsers, which is why it doesn't work on most if at all. Dedicated Flash players like the one linked will still work for the time being (at least until Adobe inevitably kicks the bucket with flash too).

Bug report: When I "Recover" after being stunned, I eternally loop to a blank page with the same button :I This happens with Satyrs and with Sheila.

After ascending I lost the "Charge Weapon" spell. Using books and the Tel'Adre Library don't help.

How exactly do you ascend? I beat the game once and it gave me an ending where I hunted down demons until I died of old age.

You pick continue after beating Lethice then return to camp. Ascension is under camp options.

It's worth noting that you'll want to build up ascension points. You need them to get bonus perks.

Ascension points go up with the number of followers/lovers/slaves you have, the number of children you have, if you've completed quests (Urta's Fertility, Marble Purification, and Minerva's Purification), and what level you're at.

Hi people, one question... how can I archive
"Shadow Achievement: Extremely Celibate Delver: Complete Phoenix Tower without orgasming at any point. Spoiler: Orgasms had before the Phoenix Tower was even unlocked count. To get this, you must not cum at any point prior to completing the Phoenix Tower. "
No matter what I do it's really impossible to not cum even once :/ and to gain Helia trust we need play with her after we beat her in battle... so really not get it. any advice? I also not get how it possible to heh
"Ultimate Noob: Defeat Lethice at level 1."

[Ravie]

"Shadow Achievement: Extremely Celibate Delver:" I assume you know about learning meditate from Jojo to deal with lust, but you're wrong on Hel's trust i believe. Leaving after a fight still gives a LITTLE trust, like 1%, so it'll go up slowly if you keep at it.
"Ultimate Noob:" ....VERY good question. I have no idea either on how to make this possible, as this way you can't really get neither perks nor lust/damage resistance.

[Raistlin Majere]

Just had to make an account to post this.

Has anyone experienced an issue with their strength and speed just vanishing? I think it's a bug with the bee venom because when I finish a fight with one, any drained stats don't return to normal despite the text saying the venom wore off.

Right now my character is level eleven with 1 strength, 1 speed, and fifty in both the other stats. I've put about fifteen points in strength since the start.

Can someone tell me how to trigger the breakfest scene with Anzu?

I think that Anzu's content is still being worked on. Though I'm really looking forward to what he will have to offer, and besides, sexing up an "ex-god" is on my TODO List.

Encountering Lumi's workshop is a random chance one, so you'll either have to keep trying or just use CoCEd and activate her trigger... I think.
(Her trigger: LUMI_MET - should be a 1 for yes and a 0 for no)
