Can you get Syri as part of your crew?

The quest was introduced for more of her story and to give a conclusion to the big plot thread for her. She does move to Uveto so you can pop in for a visit inbetween visiting the hermaphrodite dragon and the tiny dog people.

Nah, it's just split into chunks and recruitment comes at some later point in time.
We'll get the Syri crew expansion eventually. If the choice is for it to be done quickly or done well I'd prefer the second option. No use half assing the best puppy in the game just to have it quicker.

Syri was always going to join the crew, but she was always going to get this story expansion as well. There's a huge backlog of content to be added to the game, and Savin is one dude who has a lot to work on. Give it time.
No need to worry my French friend. We will get the recruitment quest in time. Until then we can just sit back and enjoy the other content being added.
