If dynamic a bust selection system is ever going to be a thing in the future, here is a revamp of a mockup I did on the old forum:
The four button symbols on the bottom of the popup represent: None All (sets all bust images to off), Default All (sets all bust images to their default setting--either following the ordering set in the options or just what the devs set up as the primary), OK (to set the selected settings), Cancel (to ignore the selected settings and revert back to the previous settings), respectively. I would imagine that saving the game will save the settings in an array for that game, so each save file will have their own unique settings.
Hopefully this gives an illustration of all the combinations possible. Repeat busts will have only one column designated to them since it's tracking art for each bust rather than art for each bust for each column (that would be a huge bother). I excluded any named displays to make it spoiler free (in case the character is unnamed or has a changeable name), so alterable busts will only show up as "First", "Second", and "Third" (hopefully not to be confused with Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Bust preferences in the options). The "Backdrop" selection is optional (which is why I left it at the very end), and is mainly for if the game has background art to display, and enough of it to garner a selection menu (otherwise it can be a toggle-able thing in the options menu).
In any case, I doubt such a system would need implementing unless there are a lot of bust art that overlaps each other (to which only a few characters have at the moment), but at least it gives the option of turning off any of the ones a player doesn't want to see art for.
