I beat the Queensguard and Queen Taivra in one turn each using the Myr Bow. They didn't perform a single action, they just lost before they could do anything. And the Royal Shard Bow is stronger (and totally an option for all characters for whom egging, pregnancy, breast growth or lactation is unacceptable)... so right now, it's hard not to go with Lust bows.
Lust weapons are strange, though. The game separates weapons into Melee and Ranged categories for the purpose of linking them to stats, and also separates damage between HP and Lust. But while HP damage is based off stats and weapon, Lust damage is based entirely off your weapon. There is no Seduction stat or whatnot to improve your Lust damage, even with the basic Tease. I guess it's to balance the fact that HP damage characters can beat anything while there are some enemies in the game that are immune to both Lust and EMP grenades, disallowing the option of making a purely Lust-based character. Which admittedly, in a sex game, is super odd. Violence > Sex?
What stat would a "not-lightsaber" use? In other games it would have been either a very specific weapon proficiency (like Sword Skill) or, if tied to a stat, it would have been Agility. Now TiTS doesn't make distinction between weapon forms (which is good, leaves more flexibility when creating them), so it should be tied directly to a stat, but... which one? Strength would not improve its damage. It requires finesse, which screams Agility, but that stat doesn't exist here; it has been cut into multiple pieces, with only two highly specialized ones being present. Aim is strictly for Ranged weapons, and Reflexes seems to be a purely defensive stat for avoiding attacks, so neither work here.
For the sake of consistency, it'll probably just work off of Physique. It'll be a melee Merc/Smuggler weapon for disabling enemy shields. Techs don't really give a shit about melee weapons (energy or not) because 99% of Tech Specialists are Ranged; the level 3 perk is just too strong to ignore and it's Ranged only.
Heh, it doesn't matter. The "best" weapon will change every major update.
