No? Closest thing I can find is it saying that weird plant thing they have can't exist in other species, and I wouldn't take that to mean a TF can't be based off of them.

I see. I remembered something weird on their biology being the reason no tfs of the species existed yet. I completely forgor their weird green hair is actually its own separate being. That being said, i don't think being covered head to toe in symbiotic lichen is something truly esencial to the bear experience, so I'm excited to see what you'll cook up with an alien bear tf

Yeah, it is. Bhakar says that he himself was part of some of the atrocities the roravan did when they were still a unified militia, and still feels regret over it. It took me by shock the first time i read it. Not the worst thing that has happened on the TiTS universe (that kinda sounds silly, now that i think about it), but definitely up there
