Will there be a way to get Arona pregnant if you were a dick during the village assault and fucked Infrith? As that blocks off access to Hertha and all the other orc pregnancy content is based on her... And if not is there a cheat code to remedy this?

Seems pretty appropriate to me. Actions have consequences, and the orc women deciding not to let the rapey character knock them up feels like a natural consequence of that character's actions.

So... I assume if one didn't make Arona chieftain her pregnancy content would also be gated, yes?

I mean I understand your point but on the other hand I really wanted to spread the corruption with my character and back then that seemed like the most corrupt way to do things that and putting my lowly servant Arona on the throne where I could show the entire tribe that my character is above them by completely subjugating her in front of everyone and I think a part of that now that its possible would be making her pregnant with a corrupt offspring preferably while on the throne when the whole tribe watches.

Off-topic but... Wow that is a run-off.

I mean, the patch notes say very clearly that 'You can now impregnate Arona after she becomes Chieftain of her tribe' so...

Think of it like Syri's position in TiTS; it's not necessarily that she doesn't want to start a family but under the current circumstances now is simply not the right time. As chieftain, Arona has an entire tribe to support her and take care of her children while she goes off on adventures. As an exile she has none of that.

If you ignored the bolded tooltip that explained that being a rapey asshole will have consequences and did it anyways, you have only yourself to blame.

I know how it was worded in the change-log, and I'm pretty sure you knew what I was inferring with my question.

Well, to clarify: If one does not make Arona chieftain, does that mean that there would never be a scenario whereby they'd be able to impregnate her (as in, would there never be future content for allowing the PC to knock her up).
I haven't played through the content as of yet (due to not being a backer), so I don't know the exact reasoning for it being gated, hence my asking.

Although, if it is to be so that the PC can only knock her up if she's chieftain (as in no future Arona preg content for non-chieftain Arona), then that's fine too. I just thought it would be alright to at least pose that question.

Huh, I see you edited stuff in the post I replied to after I already replied to it. Alright well I'll address that here.

Think of it like Syri's position in TiTS; it's not necessarily that she doesn't want to start a family but under the current circumstances now is simply not the right time. As chieftain, Arona has an entire tribe to support her and take care of her children while she goes off on adventures. As an exile she has none of that.

I mean, that's fine if that's the reasoning supplied.
Although it does bring into question then as to why Exiled Arona can knock up the PC then...? Because that would still check the "starting a family" box as far as I could tell - as well as in that scenario Gwyn takes care of the kids in any case - so I'd assume it wouldn't be any different if the roles (who gets pregnant PC or Arona) were reversed.

Anyways, apologies if I've derailed this thread. Probably should of just started a CoC2 Questions & Answers thread of my own.

No, that's my ad-hoc reasoning for why Exiled Arona isn't getting pregnancy content and why you can't handwave a solution for the real reasoning in that situation. I probably should have been clearer about that.

The two specific reasons she does provide make it clear the content requires Arona to be chieftain, however:
First, seeing the Champ get any of the other orcs pregnant puts the idea in her head, so if you can't have those interactions with them you can't progress her pregnancy content. She's also incapable of getting pregnant without Hretha's help, which is the real reason that only chieftain Arona can be impregnated.

I tend to lean away from corruption in these games but I will point out that lose against almost any enemy in the game results in your own rape even with Hretha during the camp invasion.

Aside from Hretha having a protective streak towards Infrith, winner takes all seems to be the name of the game. Hell, Hretha calls herself spoils after being beaten during the invasion.

I mean, this game is fine with rape unless you do it. Mercs ans kitsune are prime example. The best thing is about mercs is ending dialogue where our champions goes "Maybe this bunch of rapist that are supposed to protect us are not all that bad..."? I would be more distraught if I did not find it hilarious.
That is not even considering what is going to happen if you chose to do corrupt route in Mercs sidequest. Can not wait for that shit show.

While I uses the game as a whole for reference I was more looking to the Orc Camp for scope in that argument.

Every loss scene during the invasion ends in the character getting used by the victor. In game it makes sense for Hretha to not engage with you out of anger at touching her apprentice. I more meant it odd that the forum considers condemns those that went the darker route despite it being on par with the treatment the player recieves for losing.

Although I will say that the losers generally are portrayed as reluctantly willing at worst. Hretha is the one who voices major disagreement with the player for touching Infrinth. Infrith in her future dialogue seems pretty orcish in her own opinion on such things.

To be fair, by all accounts, we are the oned invading their home. And I mean, they were just defending it. So us beating them than forcing them into sex is not in best light. Still, Hretha is into it. She just wants Infrith to do it on her own terms.

I do hope that we will be able to impregnate exiled Arona. I know that, the logic is that she wants to do it in confides of her trybe, but she has no qualms in getting us pregnant even exiled. I know that you could say that difference is that we are the ones carrying her child but still. I do not think that the Arona would have biggest qualms in that regard. Especially since we have nursery there where we dump most of our happy accidents. Which is pretty close to how some Orcs deal with their children.

They are raiders. Their entire line of work involves doing that exact thing to other people.

Yeah it gets hard to criticize if we decide to build our house out of glass.

I haven't played the recent build and refuse to embrace peen after that ghostlight thing got added. But if it's anything like Wolfram said, It'd be hard to do that if 2/3 of the required characters aren't even speaking to you.

To be fair, by all accounts, we are the oned invading their home. And I mean, they were just defending it.

And they invaded the area with the intent to rape and pillage, even if they're not really good at it. Hretha is a massive and borderline irredeemable hypocrite. Just because she's slightly smarter and calmer than the rest of Kervus, doesn't make her any less like them. No comment on Infrith. I haven't interacted with her at all and of course she's gonna help her boss fight. But at least I can pretend to be morally superior to them because I didn't select the rapey options then or ever. Why be nice and turn the other cheek because of morals and kindness, when you can lord it over them forever? I'm such a good person.

If you ignored the bolded tooltip that explained that being a rapey asshole will have consequences and did it anyways, you have only yourself to blame.

Those bolded tooltips won't stop me, because I can't read!

Never really thought of Hretha as a hypocrite for not wanting to deal with you after the dust settles. I just took issue with players taking umbridge with anyone that chose to hurt Infrith and cross Hretha.

CoC2 is a rape or get raped world, and a champion that chooses to be above it is in the minority mindset for the setting. Though I honestly cant really stomach a lot of corruption scenes myself. I tried in the OG and Kelt's conversion still haunts me.

I say she's a hypocrite because she's perfectly fine with Kervus raiding and raping the people of an area, gave Arona her turbo schlong with which she commits rape, and gets in on it if you lose by taking the player and their companions as slaves. But the second she's in the losing position, she suddenly thinks it's abhorrent. There's nothing wrong with her wanting to protect Infrith and it's perfectly fine that she wants nothing to do with a rapey player, but that doesn't make her any less of an enabling hypocrite. No comment on Infrith. I try not to interact with the orcs and Infrith doesn't really have enough dialogue to judge her when you fight them.

CoC2 is a rape or get raped world, and a champion that chooses to be above it is in the minority mindset for the setting.

Imma add that to the list of of minorities I fit into then. A "minority report" if you will. Especially since I can count the amount of minorities on the list on one hand. A minor amount of minorities. But yeah, the constant threat of rape as an outcome for almost all fights makes a lot of interactions really jarring and difficult to not be bothered by. I can understand some characters but still. I know it's a porn game, but it's hard to sympathize and want to be friendly or think well of someone who just tried to force themselves on you a second ago.

Though I honestly cant really stomach a lot of corruption scenes myself. I tried in the OG and Kelt's conversion still haunts me.

Same. I got second hand disgust reading Kelt's scenes when I got them. I may be a masochist and into some degradation, but that was a lot to say the least. I can't blame anyone for not wanting to write corrupt stuff. Somewhat on topic, but that will probably be part of why we don't get a corrupt route Arona pregnancy. If you can't give her FOMO from seeing all the other orc women pregnant, she can't get the idea and will be to busy doing chief stuff. I could understand exile Arona pregnancy, but that would need some rewrites and changes to conditions to work and that may be more trouble than it's worth. Maybe Evergreen would do something, but no one trusts that creepy tanuki.

Now that's not fair. Arona is a rapist too. Rapist shouldn't discriminate against other rapist.

End rapist discrimination. /s

I feel insulted that you assume that we are so dumb that we can not pick up on sarcasm so thick, Japanese can sense it.

But, I do have to say, I do find it funny how people pretend that rape is big deal in CoC2 world. That is basically everyones favorite past time there. Hell, certain next expansion will have whole non consentual gang bang. What makes Hethia thing funny is that she is only sane person who does not welcome rapist with open arms at least 50 percent of the time. Wish we had that ability in certain encounters.

And Hretha has very little compunctions if you rape her, which makes it... better? More ideologically consistent?

But, yeah, it's a franchise where a significant chunk of the content is 'victory sex'. There's a very loose notion of consent, both in the player character inflicting and receiving.

It's been a hot second since I've looked at the Kelt scenes and nostalgia might be clouding my memory, but I don't remember anything particularly awful. The PC turned the table on someone who was reallllly abusive.

It's not the worst thing ever, but Kelt's extreme misogyny and degradation got really uncomfortable. Plus if I remember right, the farm owner gets pissed if you turn Kelt into Kelly. It's not one specific scene that makes him such a hateable and disgusting character, but rather all his smaller interactions together being so repulsive. At least you can still get back at him in a very ironic way which, in my disgustingly humble opinion, prevents him from being the worst character across the Fenverse games. He's still massive prick though.

And he only interacts with you as long as you're submissive and put up with his bullshit - for some archery. During which he'll grab & grope you like a piece of meat and constantly comment on how your useless bags of fat are in the way, and how you're really only good for birthing foals for the tribe - or sum'n.
Never played a male MC and found Kelt, so no idea how he reacts there - I just very vividly remember how he afts towards female/futa MCs...
Aa for evil Arona pregger stuff: can't comment much, orcs are funny and weird imho, sum'n about not-hwite skin being off-putting to me; funny when gray, purple and red are fine to me but green, blue and everything else just look weird to me.

Oh god I remember that. He took the degradation way too far. The archery training was not worth it. That was probably the intent, but it could've been handled in a less disgusting way. I was fine when it first came out but over time, that's changed. Now I don't think I could stomach it. Not without going the Kelly route right after at least.

Reject Kelt and orcs. Return to catgirls.
