Any Headcanons for What Happens to Your Steele Post Story

So I've been overthinking what would happen to my (main) Steele after the story at least. Um...they have to for the consequences of my actions as they'll be addicted to Dzaan with a million kids. More worried about the Dzaan addiction, but hey, as long as we keep them close by for their fix they'll be fine right? Right? Rich and blissfully Dzaan addicted mommy Steele.

So it got me thinking...who else thinks about what happens to their Steel when this whole deal is over? How many more Dzaan addicts are out there with me lol

My 1st and main character is going to enjoy being CEO, trying to make the universe a better place, and being the loving parent to enough children to form several sports leagues while making time for the numerous partners accrued over the journey.

My 2nd is going to use Steele Tech to turn the universe into a bimbo paradise like New Texas after having experienced the joys of the treatment on her travels.

My 3rd plans to live the life of a whore not for money but for the love of the game. He's just a slut through and through.

The first thing Isabel's gonna do after she becomes CEO is launch a Spanish Inquisition against her own company - particularly the Board of Directors - to see who hasn't been keeping up Steele Tech's high moral standards since Victor's death, and dole out punishments (and referrals to any relevant courts for criminal charges, if necessary) as appropriate. Once that's done and any Board members thusly fired have been replaced, it'll be business as usual, but with several major changes: one, trying to expand the relatively recent additions to the company (i.e. Applied Sciences and the entertainment division Bizzy started); two, trying to take down Carver, Pyrite, SagiTom and other particularly unethical megacorps; three, trying to take down Brightwater, consolidate control over Utopian Skies (and thus Dhaal as a whole, which may require taking them down, too) and massively raise the standards of just about everything on Dhaal; four, general philanthropic endeavours, including lobbying for greater protections for indentured servants. She'll also try to help resolve the war on Myrellion peacefully, if she can and that hasn't been resolved yet.
On her personal life's side, she'll almost certainly marry several of her lovers, significantly slow down the rate at which she acquires more lovers and children, and try to fit in being a good lover and mother to her lovers and children (respectively) to her no doubt busy CEO schedule. And again, philanthropic endeavours, these ones being paid for out of her own deep pockets.

For my Steele, it's not the destination that's the prize, but the journey.

Look at all that's happened on the road to claiming their legacy. Why the fuck would they trade all that for a desk? Money? Power? Both things they can get out there on the fringes.

So my Steele will run the company, yes. But thats just an excuse to gather resources, train, and prepare.

Because once the starting bell rings for the next Planet Rush, my Steele is gonna be at the front of the pack, ready to face the worst the universe can throw at them and take it all head on!

For me, the end of the journey is a temporary stop. First, to right the ship of Steele Tech, and put the board back in their place, to continue to operate a company of the highest standards, that treats employees like people, not a resource.

Given the trillions at my disposal, I would work to making life as hard as possible for Beth Carver and the Black Void. An easy way to do this is through the Rats' Raiders, whom I can support with an unofficial letter of marque.

I would make sure my cousin was taken care of, and try my damnedest to patch things up with Uncle Max, and get a more complete story about what my father was like. (Enough in the game points to him being no saint, but enough people thought of him as a hero that he can't be the demon Max says he was.)

As for lovers, I might end up with a small harem. Depends. I would heavily pursue Ffion for romance and marriage, tbh.

But I also love Shekka, Claes, Azra and Amber. I would also make sure Sam gets a good job at Steele Tech to make sure she doesn't end up like her parents.

Overall, I'd just be using all the power I had just earned to do my damnedest to make the galaxy a better place.

I know, standard hero fantasy. But I never claimed to be interesting.

Throw in xenogen and pretty much all of the zaibatsu as well imo
Xenogen and the zaibatsu have some good people in them. Xenogen especially. McAllister, Kimber and Kelly all come to mind. I won't lie, it is clear the company is suspect, but not to the same degree as Carver's slave operations.

As for the zaibatsu, I kinda like Utopian Skies. I get the feeling that Corellah Dova really does want to change Dhaal for the better. I might be wrong, but hey, since all of this is basically writing fanfiction anyway, why not?

The good people in xenogen are good despite the company, and would probably be better of jumping to steeletech or something. While I'm not too familiar with utopian Skies, to my knowledge their workers are still massively exploited

I think my current Steele would have very similar post-game goals to Shepard's, albeit she probably won't have much success given that she's extremely anti-corporate (for tragic backstory reasons) so basically everyone in any real position of power (with the exception of Victor) hates her guts. Her relationship with the Board is especially antagonistic since they really do not like the idea of someone like her taking over the company. Even after the hunt for the probes is over, I'd headcanon that the Board will probably be a thorn in her side for years to come, using bogus lawsuits, blackmail, and basically doing anything they can to stall for time.

Anyways, have a fun little snippet this thread inspired:

STEELE: Yes?

SMITH: Good evening, and congratulations on securing the third probe, Ms. Steele. My name is █████ Smith, and I speak on behalf of Steele Tech's Board of Directo—

STEELE: What do you want?

SMITH: Ah, straight to the point then? So much like your father.

STEELE: You don't know much about me then.

SMITH: On the contrary, Ms, Steele, I know everything I need to know about you. I know the bars you frequent, the names of your lovers, even the flavor of the ration bar you had for breakfast this morning. Caramel and cinnamon... it seems that someone has a sweet tooth.

STEELE: ...

SMITH: Oh, don't act so surprised. Our new data collection policies were quite transparent. (Cough) Anyhow, the reason I have called you at this hour is to ask you a simple question: should you reach the final probe, what are your intentions with your father's share of the company?

STEELE: If you know so much about me, you should already know my answer to that question.

SMITH: Very well, I shall recite them for the sake of confirmation: you wish to depose the Board and bleed the company dry with frivolous charities, chasing an egalitarian fantasy and trampling everything your father worked so hard to build. Do I have that correct?

STEELE: (Laughter)

SMITH: I fail to see how the fate of your father' s company is a laughing matter.

STEELE: Oh man, they weren't kidding. (Laughter) Say the words 'solidarity' and 'union' a few times, and all the suits start pissing their pants.

SMITH: Oh come now, Ms. Steele. You do not seriously believe you can run the third largest mining conglomerate in the UGC like that little co-op brothel on Khaleen.

STEELE: And I suppose that we're better off under the leash of our benevolent corporate overlords. Tell me, how does shareholder boot taste?

SMITH: (Sighing) Ms. Steele, why do you think Steele Tech has the reputation it does? Why do you think we can afford such luxuries for our employees? It's because underneath all of your father's childish idealism, he never forgot that the bottom line must come first.

STEELE: And look what good that did. He spent three years painstakingly un-fucking the mess the Board made on Accadia, and the moment he was pronounced dead, they went straight back to using Carver's slaves.

SMITH: Despite what you may believe, we are not unreasonable. I assure you that the Board will be more than willing to negotiate new contracts with our indentured employees — in exchange for your cooperation. With time, I'm sure we can arrive at a mutually beneficial arrangement.

STEELE: Once I find that last probe, Steele Tech will not have indentured workers period. Tell your masters they can go eat a bag of dicks — and not in the fun way.

SMITH: Careful, Ms. Steele. The Rush is a dangerous place. People go missing all of the time out there.

STEELE: Is that a threat?

SMITH: We'll be in touch.

Technically, in the real world the CEO's job is to carry out the will of the Board of Directors, not the other way around. Granted, the ideal is that the Board will set goals and the CEO then determines strategy - BoD says "We want to break into the transformatives market", and the CEO says "We will attempt to buy this small company and grow them to be a rival to the current companies."
So the idea that Steele is going to waltz in and tell the BoD anything is wrong. At most, Steele might be able to say "Putting aside my position as CEO, the fact that I personally own 55% of SteeleCorp means I control the votes of the BoD, so I (the majority stockholder on the BoD) am telling the CEO to go smash Carver."

I feel like this is how it is. It's still a family company, and Steele senior seemed to run it however he pleased, so I am guessing that at least 51% of the company, probably more, is Steele's.

If victor doesn't own most of his own company I will eat my (metaphorical as I do not actually own one) hat. Fucker owns majority shares in other people's companies

I agree - it's probably like Koch Industries; the shares are closely held and not just everybody can invest. I'd say the shares that Semith says he owns are probably non-voting shares, and the only voting shares were held by Victor (now a trustee charged with maintaining value until they are claimed), and possibly a few in Max and the Rival's hands.
I'd also suspect that in addition to the codes for unlocking the shares, the final probe probably has a bunch of kompromat on many if not all the BoD - "OK Kid, if the board gives you back-talk, you can threaten to send these guys to prison, threaten to ruin these guys' public image, tell the Black Guard that these guys screwed up these deals, etc. Oh, and here's a few Galactic Senators, world leaders, and high judges for good measure."
