I get it, people like sex scene! Great! ME TOO! That being said how about that Psionic skill tree? How about the next probe? How about some actual content that will make the game more "WHOLE". I feel like you guys are focusing too much on the supplemental content. Please stop adding peas and carrots to the plate; I'd like some meat please!

Don't get it twisted like "Oh he thinks sex scenes aren't REAL content!" I'm sure the people who submit content work very hard on that. But that's not what the game needs! The game needs a skeleton, a COMPLETED skeleton! Then you can snazz it up with your sunglasses and 3 piece suit. What we have right now is a ribcage and a skull on a table covered in jewelry.

I don't get it. Does no one here want the rest of the race? Of the plotline? The planets!? Are you you guys just truly content with just getting more and more sex scenes?

So this is basically "I want I want I want." Which is fine, you can want a lot of things. But the thing is, this is a fucking sex game. Of course sex scenes are going to have a high priority. And while I by no means speak for Fen, it seems like the main goal right now is to flesh out the current planets. Sure he can make more planets, but what good is that if there's nothing on said planets? Believe it or not, the sex scenes and characters are the fucking meat.

Yes people want the rest of the race. Yes people want the rest of the plotline. Yes people want the rest of the planets. Oh, and people also want more sex scenes, more busts, more romance options, more bugfixes, crew members, more fucking everything. It's a lot of work, and that shit takes time.

Crewmates aren't decided by popularity. Idk where you got that idea. If someone wants to write a NPC, and they want to make them a crewmate, then they'll be a crewmate. It's not a "Oh well I need 500 more people to say they like 'Jacob' before we can make him a crewmate." It's just "Yo I'ma write this cute lil' faux cow boy and have him be a part of your crew. Have him ride yo dick while you're flying your ship."

(In case anyone misinterprets, Jason is not an actual character, just a throwaway example. Don't waste your time looking for him on the wiki.)

I think people are reacting more to your tone than the topic. That and forum goes can be incredibly defensive about certain topics.

I get where you're coming from though. I don't remember the last time we heard about Gedan or progress on the ship system.

To a large degree I think the community here understands that fenco is eager to review and implement the work done by fans. There's also a concerted effort to make sure there is a variety of characters to appeal to different kinks. The review and the coding takes a lot of time, and that's fine. I think the frustration that the OP is expressing has more to do with lack of a clearly communicated content completion timetable.

Fenco is very proactive about saying what's immediately coming next, but the long term plan is not obvious.

I think the people most happy with development look at these games as living books that are constantly added to. More goal-oriented backers see an investment and wonder about completion.

Firstly Psionics won't be in the game for the PC for a while, that's end game tier stuff.

Secondly Shekka's been around since the introduction of Tarkus and I think from plans she was always meant to be added as a crew member once you resolved her quest. It just took so friggin long for Fen to do that stuff >.>

Thirdly and this has to do with Shekka again. We do not have enough fuckable short small boobed characters around, she is one of the few characters in the game that can cater to folks who like characters of a smaller size. I am one of them

We've had this conversation, both on here and amongst people it actually matters, a lot over the years. I personally find the way TiTS is developed frustrating for some of the reasons youve highlighted, and would very much like to see improvements.

But you know what it always boils down to? It's pointless. TiTS is Fen's game, he's been doing his aimless, scatterbrained thing for many years now and he isn't going to change. He hasn't got an incentive to change, because he continues to make money hand over fist for it. Clearly most people don't mind how he approaches content!

If you're me, you make your peace with that, accept that you make money remora-like off a piece of intellectual property that will always be a certain way, because of the guy who has the right to call the shots. If you're you... all I can say is, enjoy the game for what it is, and if you believe there's a better alternative out there, throw your money at it.

Harassing the creators of the game doesn't help. Whining about the lack of content you want doesn't help. It's pointless. If anything, it's rather counterproductive, because it's demotivating to the game's creators.

If you want more content you like, contribute to the community and offer possible solutions, in a polite manner; and if that still doesn't satisfy you, I believe you might be better off quitting the game for a while and coming back to it later, so you can see all the progress that will have been made in the mean time.

Finally, I'd like to remind you all complainers that the game is essentially free. Nobody is taking your lunch money to make it, it's all based on voluntary donations. With this in mind, please be at least a little more forgiving towards it.
