The game does not recognize cock socks as partial nudity coverage so mechanically-wise turning on "transparency" doesn't change anything from it's pigmented mode.

Edit:
I just remembered the femboy suula npc from Tavros, who's name escapes me currently, but he doesn't seem to be on the run from the police constantly, so maybe the game should actually start considering cock socks as nudity coverage. *shrug

NPCs don't play by player rules (see Sera), but Cock Rings have the 'Fully Exposed' flag, suggesting Cock Socks should count for nudity.

Well, maybe socks and rings should be viewed separately then, since FenCo now patched in the "transparent" cock sock.

Your knotty dog-cock is wearing a chameleon cock sock.
Changing color doesn't seem to matter either, as it's not even referenced in Appearance.

Hopefully fixed for the next release.

I made some adjustments to how this item and other "Chameleon"-related items are interacted with. For the Chameleon Cock Sock, changing its transparency on will now set its sexiness to 1 (to which the item starts off transparent by default from what I've noticed), and toggling its transparency off to show color will set its sexiness to 0. When the update goes through, the sexiness value should be retroactively applied after loading, but if for some reason it isn't, just toggle the transparency back and forth and that should fix the value.

Any worn cockwear that is a cock sock item and isn't fully-exposed, should now count towards clothing a penis like how sheaths are treated (regardless of erection level). But if the cock sock is transparent, the penis will be considered "visible" (and not necessarily exposed).

For other chameleon tech items, to maintain consistency, the item needs to be worn before being able to change its color (though I may remove this check if it's unintuitive, I would just need to apply it to the other items, like the Chameleon Cock Sock and Chameleon Armor, for consistency). Being in combat should also block any color editing. There is also a new option to "Reset" the item's color back to its ambiguous default "color".

All chameleon tech items, unless I missed any, should also show the color that it is set to in both its tooltip and full description, so hopefully that will help with clarity.

If you want to provide a save file for testing, that may be helpful.
