I was playing this morning, I asked for a save to file, closed the window and left to do some other things, now I return to try to load my save, and it tells me it's invalid, even though it's .txt, and the autosave just takes me to an endless loop of "Your autosave is loading"

The same thing happens to me. I make a male character, get dropped and can't talk to her. All menu bottons work and I can talk to guys in the cafe, I'm in windows 10

Yeah, you can't ignore anyone in this game. For example: in order to initiate Rolf Scammander's quest you need a good relationship with Ginny so she will tell ypu about the rumors of a beast in Hogwarts, and speaking of that quest, it's bugged. If you tell Rolf you find his pet cute the scene...
