It's a display bug. He just doesn't have the Flying icon. Stuns do ground him, but he starts Flying the turn it wears off? (Melee attacks don't work after he recovers, but hasn't taken an action next turn that ends with him Flying). There are a few other issues with him.

What is the girpe, exactly? Do you want 100+ (in an absolute) or 100% (so you auto-lose combat)? IIRC, Amazonian Needs reads it's value 1, so you could get that and Save-Edit to some absurd value.
