The Casstech has a Laser Cannon taking one of it's Module/Crew slots by default. The Machine Gun is fixed, so it doesn't take space.

If you put an item in and cancel, it's not removed from your inventory, but is added to Storage, duplicating it. If you remove an item and cancel, it is removed from Storage, but not added to your inventory, deleting it. If it's a single item, it shows a count of 0 the next time you look in...

Some testing suggests this is a problem with the Disarmed status. Pheromonal Jungle Lure and Lighting Duster crashed in exactly the same way. Weapons also crash if you try to equip them. Clothing does not.
