I'm defining 'useless' as outclassed by another item that's available at the same time. Bonus if the better item is earlier or from the same vendor. Are there use cases for these that I'm missing? Did I miss any useless items?

If you mean 0.9.031, that's not the current version. This should be fixed in 0.9.032.

Yes, you can ignore the quest, but by the time you can buy EMP Grenades, you probably don't need them to defeat the Machina, or the ZK Rifle. Unless you bee-lined to Dane and lost, maybe? Still waiting. That's why I linked to it.

Prostitute Pro cannot be turned off. Only the Synth Womb and Inseminator Pro can be controlled/customized via the Codex.

Other enemies EMP Grenades should work on, but don't. Never thought to test the Machina, since you normally can't have EMP Grenades until later.

I don't think you're really getting away from random drops, especially from the first few planets. The optimization is knowing which enemies/drops to target.

Another weird one is Herman at the BBQ Pit. After "Special Order" the tooltip says: 67.6 fl oz. But the Codex says: Oral: Cum, 1.6 gal After moving a square, the tooltip updates to be consistent with the Codex.

Well, if you kick Syri, Anno comes back. Just tested on a save of mine. As soon as Syri is recruited, Anno's button is blanked out. Dunno why.
