No it isn't. The one in the main post goes to the wrong version, but if you scroll down to the public release of .7.1 the Mega link there works fine.

Worked for me. I used cheat mode to skip the minigame but still made sure to max out my stats. Cheat mode might work better if it just used the skip feature to make it easier to raise stats than by making stats unnecessary.

Version .9.1 was released publicly a couple of days ago and looks to add quite a few scenes. Oddly, instead of the next version being 1.0 it's going to be .10 but it still might be the "end" version of the game since Vren is already starting on Lab Rats 2 between patreon and public releases.
