    Bow Nerf

Yeeeeeeah... I just tried with a Salamander Pistol. First Rapid Fire only hit once (my main attack), second Rapid Fire didn't hit a single time out of four shots, and third Rapid Fire again didn't hit a single time out of four shots. If that wasn't bad enough, my Concentrate Fire perk isn't...

    Bow Nerf

The weapon's special effect description is sort of vague, but from what I've been reading here, it lets you keep your full accuracy on "low accuracy" attacks from perks. I haven't kept records of all my attacks, but from my limited testing, it seems to be working. Functionally, Rapid Fire...

    Bow Nerf

So, I tried Rapid Fire with that build. First round of battle: You land a hit on the crystal goo incubator with your Secure MP! (H: -27) You land a hit on the crystal goo incubator with your Secure MP! Critical Hit! (H: -71) You land a hit on the crystal goo incubator with your Secure MP...

See, he calls 'em "Dog", because they're Ausar, and... ... SUCK IT, TREBEK!

    Uveto Weapons submissions

I can't read Google docs. Do you have to "charge" the sword by grasping the handle and rubbing it up and own? Or by placing it into some sort of warm orifice? That would get dangerously close to Silly territory, haha. Then again, looking at the world's various cultures, much sillier things have...

    Spam emails

Same here. English isn't perfectly neutral, it does require distinction between "he" and "she". And that's annoying. But still, in English, when you want to say "small", you just write "small". It never changes. In my language, you'd have to modify it for plural if it referred to multiple...

    Treatement options

Ooooh, great to know, thanks. My character doesn't have any of that other stuff, she'll be fine. The Treatment is pretty much the only way to make Dumbfuck usable, but together they do give 170 max Lust, which is really good.

    Favourite Planet

I can understand why Mhen'ga is popular. It's the first planet, so everyone knows it well. Additionally, it's got a mostly natural environment (for that "unexplored land" feeling) and a decent variety of opponents. Tarkus isn't bad, but it's full of junk and rust so I wouldn't want to imagine...

    Treatement options

No kidding... I wanted the boobs, Sense and Tease buff from it, had to spend 20 minutes savescumming around the cow stuff. Random effect items are always tedious, but this one is like two dozen times worse! Not even sure I can get rid of the milk; perk text says it's just harder to stop, but...

A Rant about variety in TiTS

    It's called "Japan".

    Bow Nerf

Yeah, I tend to pick abilities based on what my build will eventually look like (rather than going for the immediate power gain), so I always pick abilities that scale and dismiss those that don't. If (at level 9,001) I can Volley for a thousand attacks or Overcharge for one and a half attacks...

    Bow Nerf

Yeeeeah... Rapid Fire doesn't have a Blind, but Volley does. If that's Volley (which it should be given the Blind), then it indeed made three attacks and not just two, which means it stacks with additional attacks and is the superior perk (VS Overcharge, which doesn't scale up).

    Bow Nerf

Suddenly I feel like we're basing our opinions of different abilities without actually knowing how they work exactly and how they affect each other. It's a little silly because these should be well-known at this point, but either way, I don't want to provide feedback on things I know nothing...

    Bow Nerf

Yeah, I too read somewhere that Volley didn't benefit from additional attacks, but if it does, that changes things. So while the base Volley ability is complete shit compared to Overcharge, it has the benefit of scaling with extra attacks while Overcharge doesn't? Huh... not sure what to do...

Reworking from class/level to an ability tree system

As much as I despise D&D 4th Edition as a Pen-and-Paper RPG system, I've got to agree with Savin on both counts: it *is* surprisingly close to how TiTS currently handles abilities (but indeed does it better), and it *is* probably what best matches the game's needs. I think something like...

    Bow Nerf

It's indeed nebulous at the moment... Perhaps it's because there are things being worked on that we just don't know about. For example, the nerf to Tanis's [sic] Bow might look insane at first glance; a Myrellion weapon that has such low damage makes no sense. But if you know that it's...

    Bow Nerf

I don't know... At some point, because of the level 3 perk, you had to be crazy not to go Ranged, that much is true. It was the only viable path for Tech Specs. But with Second Shot, suddenly the level 3 perk is almost irrelevant, so Ranged lost its advantage. Additionally, there are now perks...

A Rant about variety in TiTS

Variety is super important. Obviously it increases replay value by a lot, and even during the first playthrough it lets players choose their favored style. There have been nice efforts to implement variety. One of the recent weapons has a special ability that lets you use additional attacks...

    Bow Nerf

I just don't like the uncertainty of not knowing if the extra attack will hit (since it's got reduced accuracy), so I still kinda like Overcharge; it gives me reliability on damage (150% instead of 100% or 200%) and the possibility of a Stun, but given that it costs energy while Double Attack...
