Need Additional Data More Issues with Anal Wetness

The preference settings for anal wetness just flat out do not work at all. If you set them to anything but "Default", it just sets puts it on the lowest setting of dry as a bone.

The vaginal wetness preference settings work perfectly, though.

I'm going to be blunt, and I'm sorry about that, but I don't think linking wetness values to lust/libido is a good idea, at least not without an option or something to go back to the old system. Yes it helps with immersion, but for customization OCD freaks like me it only creates headaches. The preference settings for it was a great idea, but it isnt all encompassing for every scene and such, and with only 4 preference options and much more levels of wetness, especially vaginal, that may not be enough.

Also, and this is actually a bit of a legitimate claim I think, with it being linked to libido/lust, won't that make it difficult to establish a "baseline" or whatever for high lust/libido character, since they'll always be gushing like a fountain anyway? Sorry if I'm wrong and I'm just being an idiot with that. Also theres the squirter flag that relies on vaginal wetness, i dont even know how thats being affected.

I know I'm being super nitpicky, and again I'm sorry, but hey, I'm not the first one to do so, so what the hell.

What about the preference setting is not working correctly and can you post a save file to test with?

Any scene that mentions anal wetness by directly sourcing its wetness value is out of the hands of the preferences, which only modifies the descriptors from areas such as the appearance screen and various parsers.

In this save file, if you put the preffered anal wetness at anything but "default", then in the appearance screen it will display the minimum possible wetness description. I did some testing and using the save editor put anal wetness at its highest possible value, 5, then set the preference to "medium", and yet it still described by booty hole as being bone dry.

Oh, that can happen? Sorry I wasn't aware. Well, regardless, it's still skipping over levels of wetness. When used the save editor to put the anal wetness level on maximum, any other preference setting other than default would use the description for the wetness level of 0 in the appearance screen.
