How many Tank oriented 'Summons' or 'Rally companion' 'Powers' can properly tank in the game and how (if needed any aditional power to support them)?

I till now have only suceeded tanking with Lapis Hoplite using the Empower Summons Power (is not necessarily necessary if with high presence) to make it an bit more resilient and also have an Black Mage with the Powerful Binding Perk also helps (is also not necessarily necessary if with high presence and using the Empower Summons).
What i did found out with other summons/rally companion Powers is that most of them lack some or in all three of the following areas:

1 - Lack sufficent aggro generation;
2 - They lack survivability against mostly spellcaster parties;
3 - They get easily critted down.

Unfortunately, no summon can actually replace a companion (or the player) as a tank. Each summon has a different base threat, with the highest being a 5 way tie between Lapis Hoplite, Flame Knight, Gungrendyr, Bear and Flaming Bull at +125. Of those, Hoplite, Flame Knight, Bear and Bull (damn it, Ulysses!) have moves that actually increase their threat, but it's still not by a ton. And even then, most of them die really easily like you said.

You can try to use Vanguard to shift the threat to them, but really, it's more trouble than it's worth. There are a few summons that are pretty good healers, though. Slime Girl uses Cover on you and is a Recharge summon rather than Encounter. Kalysea and (Varena Quest spoiler) both have healing spells that they'll use on you if you get low. Dragon Lyric has a healing potion she can use on you at will, but only 3 times a fight.

I have only successfully tanked with the Lapis Hoplite and completed all content fairly well, while using the Empower Summons Power and having and high presence (don't need to be an Black Mage with the Powerful Binding Perk).
