I'm surprised you didn't say Nobel Gundam

True beauty in humanoid mecha transcends the ideal human form. For the machine is not bound to such petty human limitations. Also, the Nobel Gundam just hits too many silly buttons on the way out. The Codarl on the other hand, the shape may be human, but it's more than human, with joints based on cats and grasshoppers for superior mobility, got nothing on the Laevatein though.


Ahem, anyways the closest thing we got to a mech suit is those suits of powered armor some characters use, like Amara from the Black Void, or that Thraggen pirate who almost blew up Tarkus.

to me the Guren Seiten is one of the most attractive mecha of all time. That or maybe a Zaku II High Mobility type or Geara Zulu.

Now this is a "sexy" mecha.

I'm a fan of those eastern-western crossbreeds that seem to rarely pop up from time to time:

Heavily Armed and Armored, but designed with a bit of finesse and mobility in mind. I'm a bit biased though, I'm naturally drawn to practical but aesthetically pleasing things :p  On a side note though, I'd like to see the implementation of Gauss/Rail guns. High powered mass drivers get me going! (Too bad I play a techie ;_;)

Strike Witches is a pretty good series, but I never really thought the Striker Units were all that cool/sexy. It was more the gun porn and being a much better WWII anime whilst everyone was yapping about Hetalia.

You want me to say beautiful mecha, the Sleipnirs and Areions are a good start for me, though if I go further than that I'd say the Ex-S Gundam. Tanky it may be, but that does not stop a miniature-battleship-sized-mass of high-speed-destruction from kicking ass, taking names, and being a thing of beauty.


Well, back to topic, aside from my previously-suggested idea for a miniaturized Power Fist (Better for hiding.), I want a grenade launcher, loaded with safe-shock or heat grenades so it doesn't cross over into military grade equipment.and can be used for self-defense and launching fireworks, to top it off its designers should be KihaCorp, possibly with some CoC-themed name like a Dragonbreath Launcher.


Which makes me curious, how many weapon-making corporations do we know exist in TiTS? Aside from Reaper Armaments, KihaCorp and the former Bell-Isle/Grunmann Corporation?

A list of weapons we might have  could include a 30mm Rail-gun, a particle beam cannon, a plasma rifle,  some actual swords and axes might be interesting as well

A lot of people have mentioned railguns... the high tech, customized ZK Rifle is a railgun. (y'know, the weapon you get <1 hour of playtime that will someday be shown up by the Pebble of Destiny)


I would like a glove that has been soaked in the sexual fluids of 1000 orgies. You then slap things until they submit; whether from pain or pleasure, nobody knows...

IMO, railguns are awesome and to me it sucks that we have only one in the game (to my knowledge), would like to see more railgun weapons get in the game.

Railguns are limited only by rail/projectile durability, rail length and the amount of juice you pump into it. The first is already considered pretty near as good as it gets, but it being obtained so early in the game effectively pigeon holes the weapon type's effectiveness, at least from a lore perspective. Another railgun won't suddenly be sporting a far superior battery and unobtanium rails because the current weapon is already near capped development-wise. How would you explain the new weapon's jump in ability?


But then again, ww2 era myrellion already gives trench weapons that beat out current tech, so who knows. I only mentioned this because Fenco seems to be attempting to maintain a somewhat consistent lore. If not, then everyone will get their super death rays, anti-matter planet destroying wave-motion cannons and so on, and then it will all be rendered completely useless by whatever comes next.


Weapon progression is rarely an issue with olden day era rpgs, since a sword's a sword's a sword. However, scifi also has technological progression which really shouldn't go backwards in effectiveness (barring exceptions). Otherwise you get a post game pebble that beats out nukes in power.


tl;dr: "This thing is awesome and I want more because I want more" is a terrible approach imo.

I'm confused as to why you think we won't see any more or better ones because, "they're already near capped development-wise.". Also what does that even mean?

Current distribution of several weapons and weapon types among the planets is super wonky. Here is Savin's explanation. So when the devs will decide to put it back in order, there will be enough room for newly introduced proper military grade/premium gear.

Thanks for the link. I should remember that TiTS is in alpha, and that everything is up in the air until it's not.

Yeah, military-grade weapons have been discussed in this thread and it's said that we are supposedly supposed to get more after the Uveto update.

I've also mentioned in one of my threads that "unique" weapons should get a flag in-game. I think they'd work on that some time in the future.

Something like you mentioned would be nice, but maybe not a kinetic weapon. 


As of now, the Tech Specialist has little to no means of AoE attacks and some sort or energy grenade launcher type attachment on a weapon would fix that balance issue.
