It makes even less sense than with Kelt, he was at least actively an asshole whereas cousin is just slightly annoying and competing with you. Brings a whole new meaning to "murder/torture porn".
I think Savin's plans for your rival will make him even less like Kelt (which he/she isn't even at all).
I have to say I agree with JDeko here, and that the "trap them in their own hormones" would have to be for something on the level of genocide for me not to feel wrong about it. Considering the stakes they are playing for, and to an extent Max's influence on them, I have to say that were I in their position, I'd be doing all I could to win the big kahoona too. Yeah the character is a bit obnoxious but that's hardly a reason to go as extreme as I've seen some people here. I think they and Steele have a lot more in common than not, being defined strongly by their father figure and going on a journey of self-discovery, traveling to new places and meeting (and boinking) new peoples.
Does this mean I want Jack/Jill to win? Hell no, that money/company is mine, but I still maintain some sort of reconciliation/maybe a little big of gloating, sexual domination would be better. (At most on the level of "You may now give me oral, I'll make sure you enjoy it. Bit of an ego trip, but nothing heinous)
