I chose "Syreen" a long time ago for a fantasy game, because it sounds just fantasy enough to fit in any genre, be it medieval fantasy, futuristic, modern, etc., and now I use it for all my female PC's including in TiTS.

Just googled it, and it seems to be an actual name. woot woot.

Honestly, I just go with a gender neutral random name from generator. However my main Steele is named Chamreacia (Wordplay of Chimera). I'll give you one guess why.

Idk why, but the very first thing for a name that popped up in my head for my main was 'Ratchet', so that's what I named him, it just sounded really good with the last name 'Steele'.


(Also this was a really REALLY random thought of mine. But the PC's alias 'Steele' sounds like a damn pornstar name to me. LOL THEN AGAIN you play as the MC in a sci-fi sex game, and almost everyone in said game wants your dick, sooooo I guess it's not too out of place. Haha. >w<)

I named her Freyja, after the norse goddess of beauty, fertility, and sex. I chose this mostly because I thought it'd be appropriate since Freyja is mean't to never win any of her situations, which results in lots and lots of intense sexual wrestling. I mostly name my female character's Loriana. Which is based on the name Lorelei (also use this sometimes) from the German myth. That's why my character has a either a German of semi-German background if applicable.

I chose Akira Steele, because it's a gender-neutral name that leans towards masculine in Japanese which means "intelligent", but in Hindu it's a female name meaning "graceful strength", so it fits well with my MtF Techie fencer archer. I also make a point to only use swords and bows, once I can help it.

Also, even though it is a necromancy due to the age of the last post in the thread, I don't think it technically counts because they kept to the original subject matter of the thread, and we are all doing the same. At least, that is my interpretation.
